Retrain Now Fair 2017

For Albertans interested in education and training opportunities as well as pathways to participate in new and emerging sectors of the economy.

The ReTrain Now Fair is a one-day event on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Ramada Edmonton Hotel and Conference Centre. The Fair is also supported by the Career Development Association of Alberta and the Private Career Development Contractors Association of Alberta.

This Fair will focus on showcasing exhibitors who provide education and training opportunities, as well as organizations who provide pathways for Albertans to participate in new and emerging sectors of the economy, such as those entities within the Green Jobs sector. The primary target audience for the ReTrain Now Fair are Albertan’s who are presently unemployed or marginally employed and searching for retraining and additional education opportunities. Secondary target audiences will be groups underrepresented in the labour market such as Indigenous Albertans living off-reserve, Alberta’s immigrant population and Alberta youth age 18-24.

The ReTrain Now Fair will be open to the public from 9: 00 am to 4: 30 pm and is free for attendees.
