I loved Coldplay and Nickelback when they were here just amazing!!!!. I should have gone to the Wednesday Coldplay show also it was awesome. Waited for the concerts to come and now they have passed, just wish I could go back and experience them again. Set up is not bad at Rogers Place just prices are a little extreme and some of the sound systems from shows I have been to have been bad but not all. These two concerts I have experienced have not let me down. Thank you Rogers Place for helping me make my experiences memorable. ďż˝.

A great experience overall. Tough to describe in words. The feel, the ambiance, the lighting, the comfort seating and the food, everything is so just perfect about this place.

This is a very bittersweet review. We attended a concert in the 100s, and an Oilers game the next night in the 200s. The arena is amazing in terms of design. Beautiful, and modern. Excellent seats, seating, vending availibility, staff, security, acoustics, jumbo tron, media and all the technology. The tough part is the pricing. $13 for a can of beer is insulting. Im pretty sure the damn beer is brewed in Edmonton still. Same with food and water. I understand you need to make money, but it already costs enough for tickets, and the extras are just plain gouging.

User

I attended the oilers vs penguins hockey game on November 1st. The arena is beautiful and easy to get around. All staff are super friendly and helpful. The beer was pricey. But you can't watch hockey without it. Seats are small and no cup holders. Whomever invented the drink rail bar stools are brilliant. I had a wonderful time at the game. The LRT is so handy beside the arena.

Hello, this is my 7th time to Rogers place and at every concert or game I have had a fantastic time. I was very disappointed with my drink times this evening. This is the first time we did not have “club Access” and we waited in line for a drink for almost 60 minutes. All the other patrons were extremely angry around us because of the wait times. In my opinion, I think it was a combination of lack of urgency from staff, not enough employees and Rogers Place not setting their employees up for success. For example, the bartender that was helping us had no pop available and had to run to another area to use the tap (when his 590ml bottles would run out). It was extremely disappointing and really put a damper on the night, and caused us to miss the opening act. I hope that with the prices that you are charging for drinks combined with the ticket prices you will consider coming up with a more efficient system, or hiring more staff (or both).

Thanks,

Kristen

What a joke!

Hold a concert that starts at 8 and only serves beer and what not till 9... get real...

User

My first time in Rogers I was so excited new building I thought sweet no seat is a bad seat so I was told!! Well that's wrong my seat was beside a wall and you couldn't see past the blue line. I spent most of the night watching the tv I could of saved my money and watched at home. Section 202 row 12 seat 11 what a let down Rogers.

User

Major fail here today not enough gates open to get your volume of guests to their seats on time for Michelle Obama this afternoon.

User

Hey Roger's place. Very disappointed you stop selling food and drinks 30 minutes after the Queens show started.

Now everybody has to wait 1 1/2 hours to get a drink of water. Great job folks. You should be proud

Facilities were great. It was the staff that lack, or dropped the ball. Finished a concert there tonight were alcohol sales and security were a major issue throughout the show. Didn't think I'd have to complain to security once, let alone six times, about evicting the two guys in front of us with the pile of beer cups between the two, could barely stand, got in an altercation with a guy in the seat in front of them, and puked their guts out on the floor. Security came by several times to keep them in line, and failed to remove them. The girl behind us was clearly so inebriated that in the mist of partying it out at the concert she decided to start stripping before passing out, never mind the fact that she was spilling beer on everyone and spending a large amount of time at the bar in the back. Both these instances should have been dealt with before these individuals became a danger to themselves and others.

Having liquor at an event is nice, and so is an open bar, but maybe as a company you should look at a max being sold per individual and have spotters for people who abuse the system, either or don't have an all night open bar, it was not only an issue from where I sat, but an issue around the stadium as well. Disappointing on how this new, great facility the city spent so much money on is being manned if I can't even go to a concert and enjoy myself instead of complaining to security half a dozen times about the drunk girl spilling her beer several times on me or the drunk guys in front of us who can barely stand.

As a first time Rogers Place visitor I am not impressed with how steep the 200 section is. Unless 649 kicks in and I can afford floor or 100 section, I will not be back. Section 233 is not where I ever want to be again.

User

the most terrible concert experience ever in my life!!! This place made up rules as it convenient to them. Last time I was there attending untalented Imagine Dragons, and, surprise, I was allowed to bring my reusable bottle, because it insane to buy a bottle of water for $5.25 and because it helps environment which are drowning in the plastic waste. But today is a different story, suddenly they got new rules stating that only soft bottle are allowed in the Rogers Place without any labels. Somehow, reusable bottles made out of hard plastic (fully explainable why), but if you are trying to bring a “soft bottle”, security will never ever allow you to bring it in. It’s a total violation of the human rights, and as a citizen of the Earth, it is a violation of my personal rights to be able to choose how I want to get water. Another “amazing” fact of this fascinating place is my conversation with a manager, who actually, after a phone call, found the rule about the bottles; I tries to find this online, and there was nothing about this. All I got from this conversation is a $5 coupon which was given to me in case that I could enjoy the water during the concert. As I told earlier, the price for water is $5.25, nice move manager, nice move!!! Anyway, as a result I’m responsible now for empty bottle and a plastic cup, which made a double waste instead of no waste at all. And of course, I got zero enjoyment from the concert being overwhelmed from Rogers Place stupidity and unreasonable rules which contrivers common sense in general. This rule isn’t about security, it’s about commerce, forcing people to spend money on stuff which is already covered in the ticket cost (I mean utility). So, speaking about this place, I got one word “disappointment”. Will I back here?? No way, even if Kurt Cobain rises from the death and gives only one concert in Rogers Place only. Nothing is matter, if your human rights are taken away. The most terrible place ever!!!! There are no words to describe my feelings about the whole situation! Soon enough Rogers Place will refuse people being to enter, it all comes to this, such a lame place

User

Wow! Way to go Rogers Place. Your Edmonton Oilers fans are harassed multiple times and yet we get a warning !?! It’s a good thing I bleed blue and orange or I would be boycotting you and all of your power tripping ushers. If you are here to cheer for anyone other than the Edmonton Oilers than you can kindly eff off and leave us alone for wanting to support our home team.

User

Well I made a mistake late at night right after work and left my leatherman on my belt by accident going to go see Rodger waters. Went threw the metal detector and it went off. I handed it to security expecting to get a ticket or something to get it back. Nope the said right to my face you won’t see this again. I understand I should have left it at home but we were in a rush. We also cabbed it there so I couldn’t leave it in the car.

So we asked to talk to there supervisor and she came to talk to us and said since my information was scribed in the tool that she would give it to her boss and we could email her boss and get it back at a later time. So we did that but no response what so ever. So there goes my work tool that’s a bunch of money I don’t have.

This was my very first time in this place and more than likely my last since I’m not moneybags. I was brought as a guest to this show from people who have quite a few seats there. I get it if I had a out rite knife but this was a tool I use for work not a gun or a machete a tool. Then to just blatantly lie to my face that I’ll get it back is just inexcusable.

Just hate to use the name game on this crap but it looks like there’s no other choice.

User

Usually love going to games and such here. Went to their game with the Jets vs Oilers wearing a Jets jersey as i am a Jets fan and was told by staff that I was in the wrong place and while going up the giant escalator I was told by a member of the Rogers Place staff to jump off at the top because I'm a Jets fan. It was probably a joke, but to some people that is completely not funny. Not impressed

User

They now have a policy that you can't take in hard plastic water bottles (different from when I here last week). I could either take it 20 minutes back to my car or leave it here without the option to pick it up later. I hope they at least recycle it at the end of the night along with the hundreds of other dangerous empty water bottles.

Still won't be buying water here.

User

The craziness is incomprehensible. Please explain to me why you empty a plastic bottle of water into a plastic cup with a plastic lid and plastic straw. Even though our Canadian tap water is amazing, AND even though I asked to keep the bottle instead, AND even though I asked to reuse my plastic cup the second time I bought water. I could literally hear planet earth crying each time...

User

Standing outside Michelle Obama because you guys can't seem to figure out how to get people into the building. Crowd maintenance fail. You guys should be better at this by now.
