Rustic Kitchen Bar

We just had our staff party of 100 people at Rustic Kitchen + Bar. The staff are absolutely amazing. They were fast and friendly for every drink served. The meal was incredible and very reasonably price. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I would definitely suggest Rustic Kitchen and Bar for any staff party or just a dinner out. Thank you so much for the great time.

Took my mom for her birthday dinner tonight. First time there for both of us. I had the Pork Schnitzel, it is now my favorite dish. All the flavours of everything on the plate as well as the presentation were impressive. Great service too.

So. Good. The lamb is the best piece of meat I've ever eaten, hands down. The lovely server gave me a steak knife, which was completely unnecessary, my fork sliced through the meat like butter. The whole dish was sweet, yet savoury. The french onion soup is absolutely delicious too, without being too salty. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Second time eating here. Had the Blackened Salmon last time. IT Was Amazing! A friend last time tried the Buttermilk fried chicken and it looked amazing. Could not help coming here on my first night of my visit this time. Well it was as good as it looked. Unbelievable food at a great price! I am here for the week and will return for some more great food. Well worth a try!!

My hubby and I just ate here for the first time! I would most definately come again, and I am going to recommend this place to all my Family and Friends!!

My fiancé and I went in for dinner last night, the service was top notch, beautiful atmosphere and the food, there needs to be more stars to rate because 5 isn't enough. I had the carbonara and my fiancé had the ravioli. We ate there last year and had the buttermilk fried chicken and it was amazing! The desserts were delicious too! Thanks for the great experience, we definitely will be back and will recommend this place to everyone

I went for a special dinner with a group of girlfriends and we had the most amazing dinner.

The wine was chilled and sparkling, appetizers so delicious we ordered more, and when our meals arrived we were astonished at the portion size and how yummy everything tasted. We were so full afterwards that we had to share desserts, which were also delicious.

Excellent service - nothing was too much trouble, a select but well rounded menu, and atmosphere to match our mood, we all had a fantastic evening.

I had heard good things about this place and for once the gossip was spot on!!! The food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, the menu has something for everyone and the desserts are to die for.

I was in town for 10 days and ate here on a few occasions, each time trying something different and never leaving disappointed.

My server, Desiree, was polite, attentive, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu and the locally sourced ingredients featured on it.

Can't wait to eat there again!

Had a fabulous dinner at the Rustic kitchen! Our server Laure was very attentive and friendly! The food was amazing. I had the buttermilk fried chicken with Mac n cheese and pineapple coleslaw! The chicken was juicy and crispy. The mac n cheese was creamy n tasty. The portions were very generous.

We also tried the chocolate cheesecake and banana pie! Both very good!

We will totally be back!

A true hidden gem. I have to be honest I didn't expect anything great to come of my Medicine Hat trip, but Rustic Kitchen and Bar has been a delight.

First I was greeted with warn smiles and quick wits. Once seated I ordered the Coconut Shrimp and the pasta special of the night, a linguini infused with beets and served with BC salmom and feta. I would have included a picture, but I couldn't wait to try it and dove in right away. The flavours where devine and textures where perfect and presentation as as good as any fine dining I have enjoyed in Montreal, New York or Vancouver. Everything was prepared exquisitely. I tip my hat to the chef and his staff. A job very well done.

Sandy, the owner and her staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful and generous to a fault. The food was tasty too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely fabulous! Meals and service were top notch. I only gave it four starts because the cocktail and wine menu were lacking. We went during the last hour of service when it was not busy. Our food came super fast and the waitress was super great and had a ton of information.

Wasn’t totally impressed. Food wasn’t to bad, steak was very chewy. Service was great! But what really ticked me off was that my daughter gave my wife and I a gift card for 50$ for this restaurant. However when cashing it in we only got 47.50 credit for the card. GST was paid when purchasing. Even if it wasn’t. 50$ is 50$. It’s not a a lot of money, it’s the point behind it. Will not return for crappy steak and money grabbing management. Enjoy!

My wife and I went here tonight with another couple. The layout of the restaurant was very nice and looks like a very good establishment however when I ordered steak bites wrapped in bacon and they came out in 6 little les that bite size amounts definitely not worth the price advertised! My wife ordered a steak - medium well for her main and came out rare along with one of the other couple with 90% of her lamb being fat. However the other 2 mains were of very high quality and service was good. They made every effort to please us after our unfortunate meals with new meals, and even with the unfortunate circumstances still had a good evening there and will return in the future.

We were excited to try Rustic Kitchen for the first time this evening, and unfortunately nothing about it made us want to return again. Our waitress Rosie was great, food was disappointing (nothing special about the burgers), but the hostess set the tone and didn’t set it great. Blank stares, looked at us from top to bottom, and awful body language. She definitely didn’t give off a good vibe and we’d rather spend our money elsewhere.
