She brought in a picture of a white blonde balayage as her inspiration. I knew that was her expectation so I wanted to make sure we had a thorough consultation that would explain a more realistic outcome for this appt and... to set us up for the future. I know she was a little dissapointed she couldn’t achieve the white blonde this appt but she understood why. This is why it is so important to discuss our expectations vs reality with each other. What is portrayed on social media are sometimes unrealistic results. Some are filtered, some are done in 8 hour appts using assistants, some cost quadruple what you are expecting to pay. Where do I begin, I love this place.



Well a few months ago I noticed Salon Harper's summer deal on Facebook, I never heard of the salon before so naturally I scoured through their Facebook page and was pretty impressed with their work. I made an appointment and was paired up with Corinne, unbeknownst she was my hair soulmate. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted and dear lord has she delivered.



Please note my hair is thick, curly, somewhat unruly, and to top it off I started my hair journey with a jet black color! Thanks to Corinne and her impressive skills I now have a beautiful ashy blonde balayage.



...oh and whomever is in charge of the decor did a wonderful job. I love every aspect of this salon. I will 100% be recommending it to my friends and family.

Went to Salon Harper last night for the first time. Got my hair colored by Alison and OMG the salon itself is gorgeous and Alison is of course always a treat to catch up with! The staff is beyond friendly, and the little shopping area is fun to browse through while waiting. Thanks again Alison!!! I absolutely LOVE my hair and will be coming back for sure! <3

Today was my first time in the salon and I can’t believe how cute, bright, and welcoming the place is. The little boutique is also a bonus for this salon. I had my hair done by Morgan, and she’s absolutely amazing. Always so friendly and is very thorough with explaining the process of everything she is doing during your appointment. She keeps the smiles and conversation going non stop. She’s so professional and does such a great job at what she does! Can’t wait to come back.

We have recently been doing the vogue pearl extensions, and I can’t believe the difference they have made to my hair. The extensions them selves are amazing quality and having them makes me hair thicker, longer and healthier!! If you want 5 star service and to feel beautiful and pampered, I would recommend Kerri every time!

I have been going to Kerri for years, she does AMAZing colour! About a year and a half ago I got the vogue pearl extensions, I couldn't believe how great they blended with my natural hair and how comfortable they are. People always think extensions are work, but these ones are so easy! I wash my hair, braid my hair over night and I am good to go the next day! I get tons of compliments and people are shocked when they find out I have extensions. The hair is great quality and have lasted me as long as a year. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks to Kerri and Salon Harper for giving me hair I love! Wouldn't go anywhere else :)

I had a great first experience at this gorgeous salon! � Jessie did a beautiful balyage in my hair. She was so friendly and we got to know each other a little bit during my appointment! (Talk is GREAT when getting your hair done!) So thank you Jessie! You did amazing on my hair & your personality is wonderful! I will for sure be back. �

Had an incredible first experience with Skye! She's new to hairstyling and did a wicked job transforming me into a red head :) She made it seem like she's been doing hair for years! I will definitely be going back to her and will be recommending her to all of my friends and family :)

From the moment you walk in, everyone at Salon Harper is kind and welcoming. Design is simple but chic and I love the added local artisan shop to peruse either before or after my always perfect cut/colour. Haircut day with Alison is my favourite day!

Corrine was wonderful. She explained how my color I wanted would react with my hair and hair type and made an amazing suggestion. Which I love.



She really cares about her clients and helping them look there best.

Always love coming to see my best friend, Alison at Salon Harper. She’s been doing my hair since the day she knew how to turn on a curling iron and we’ve never looked back. Such a fun environment with wonderful staff!

Always impressed with my experience here. Consistently good service, good staff and a good time. Love their willingness to accommodate strange requests and how much the team learns! Education is important to me. As we know better, we do better.

Alison always does a fantastic job of my hair. I had a (drastic) hair cut a couple weeks ago and I'm still loving it and still getting compliments! Highly recommend Alison and the environment and prices are very reasonable - love the Unite shampoo and conditioner as well.
