So last night was a very special one. Michael and I met Karen Lahay in our home. She is the lady who was featured on the Medicine Hat Library Facebook post that was thanking her for her volunteerism at the library and also introduced her as Karen ( a women who is transgender. ) There were many comments of support and unfortunately some with judgement and radical religious actions.
I decided that I wanted to do something for Karen to encourage her on her journey. I reached ...out to people I knew and quite quickly had amassed a collection of beautiful gifts to present to her .

We have a bunch of tomatoes plants that a client brought us to give away. Plants will grow 5-6 feet tall if staked and have huge san marzanno roma shaped fruits. Great for eating or sauce. First to come to salon gets as many as they want free! Here TIL 8 pm and then gone for the weekend .

I’ve been going to Salon Purity for years.

We moved to Calgary 2 years ago, and I still have come back for a monthly cut with Michael. I’ve tried 2 other stylists in Calgary for a total of 4 cuts and have yet to get a cut that even comes close to Michaels skill. I am always getting compliments on my haircut and leave people disappointed to find out he’s not in Calgary. �Simply the BEST!�

I've been coming here for 2 years now and I've always been happy with the cut, color and camaraderie, but this weekend Michael outdid himself. He convinced me to cut my hair shorter and do something different with the color... it's off the charts! It looks amazing and I'm getting compliments +++. As long as I live in Medicine Hat, this will be my salon <3

Fabulous salon! The staff is awesome...always greeted in a friendly manner. Calming atmosphere to kick back relax enjoy some fresh teas....and walk out feeling like and looking like a million bucks!! �

Excellent service. They are always keeping up on trends and continuing education which is great to see. My hair always looks and feels fantastic when I leave.

After making the mistake of lightening my naturally dark hair I had a nasty rust colour on the ends of my hair and it was breaking off constantly it was so dead! But Michael is my saint and brought my hair back to life! The colour correction turned out beautifully and never have I ever received such a phenomenal cut, my hair feels and looks amazing!!

A lovely environment where you can be pampered. The stylists are amazing artists of their own craft. Personally, I visit Salon Purity religiously to style my dark locks; and, cherish the friendships that have been nurtured over the last several years!
