It's a cold one out there in #yeg today! Warm up at Hat Tricks with their December special, $4 Highball Christmas Cheer!
Great facility with all you need. I have attended many youth athletic functions as well as many open gyms..well run and clean
Awesome place
This was our first time here. The facilities are well laid out, large, clean. We only seen the basketball courts. It was a good experience
They have it all... pretty much.. all court sports and curling too!!!.. if that's a sport
The gym was hard to find, very hidden but staff helped by escorting me there. Friendly staff and bottled water in the gym. Very handy as I had time to kill while daughter was in cheer showcase. Would go back.
It's very nice but unless your the first people there you will not get parking and if you leave it to go get food plan on doing a mile walk to get back there once you do get parked again. They hand out parking tickets all weekend long and honestly 2 choices to eat from and a poorly run restaurant upstairs that runs out of food is pretty sad also. I'm sure there's other places that are more accommodating to teams needs.
Hard to find entrance if you're not using google maps!
But a great centre, lots of amenities, friendly staff, very clean and organized !
Beautiful facility but parking is horrible. Definitely needs a parkade built. Great project for some UofA students 😉
None of my U16 volleyball players ever enjoy playing here. It’s too noisy to hear yourself think and too hot.
Of course parking also a major problem.
It is a great facility to host so many games ,but as coach it is way too loud and the lack of fresh and cool air makes it an unjoyable place to spend the weekend.
I love the facility for the size but the parking on weekends and lack of food variety at decent prices, temperatures and noise levels during tournaments are major issues! I never willing go to the centre between 8am-5pm on a weekend because there is no parking and I can end up walking from government lots...in minus 30 weather...until they come up with some sort of parkade with more than the 100 parking spots for a facility that has 10000 people visit on a weekend day it's just a frustration not worth your time. Also there is only two coffee/concessions and a dairy Queen on the main concourse...and they are severely overpriced. The restaurant/lounge upstairs is also slow and overpriced. Bring your own food because if you have to leave the facility to get food you will not find parking spot when you return. One other thing...in the spring for tournaments the facility gets to be about 100 degrees inside with no air circulation. Doors are often cracked open and fans placed to get some sort of breeze going but it does little to alleviate the stifling heat. It's also so loud you need to shout at people next to you to have a conversation. I bring my own earplugs. After writing this review I was really tempted to change my stars to 1 instead of 3....
Great sports facility. Wish we had one in Calgary. But absolutely terrible parking, unhealthy food options, and ridiculously long lines.
Great place for community basketball. The parking is unfortunately not adequate enough on weekends for the thousands of people who use the facility!
This facility does not offer adequate parking and the high temperature on the courts is ridiculous - only one gym has air conditioning. Hoping Nationals will be held elsewhere next year.....
Nice facility. Way too hot on the courts for basketball games!!! Need better airflow! Kids find it way too hot when they are playing.
Fantastic facility, only hang up, getting to it. Edmonton couldn't run a one man parade to the shit house. Hence, Edmonton is the colon of Canada, what a shit place to get around, gl finding your way in.
Disappointed that they use their "No Parking" zones as a money making scheme. THey just sit in their cars..wait for you to get out..then ticket you. No warning..or maybe letting someone who doesn't knkw the area where proper parking is..Nope they watch you walk in the building then ticket you.
The parking at this facility is so inadequate there aren't even words!! When there are tournaments going on there is no where to park. Then the "parking enforcement" drives around and tickets people who are just trying to get in to watch their kids games. Maybe invest that money into a parkade for the people who support your facility????
Nice facillity, but parking is a complete joke!!! We are here for a volleyball tournament and have to walk across a field of knee deep snow them cross 2 train tracks to get to the facillity!!! If you are going to build this size, build some PARKING!!!!
