Serenade The Grass

Serenade the Grass was created because locally there are little to no animal activist clothing available to spread the vegan message. Canada is seriously falling behind the vegan movement, and with that comes a limited selection of clothing for vegans. We here at Serenade the Grass, aim to change that through meaningful and motivational clothing. Our clothing acts as a message to the world about what harmful effects come from supporting and using animal exploitation.

Serenade the Grass donates 40% of its total profits to animal sanctuaries /animal rescues to ensure the preservation of these facilities and groups, with the intent of protecting as many animals possible from the meat and dairy industry –ensuring quality life for all animals on our planet. To ensure the donations go toward the most deserving* and active sanctuaries located within Canada, Serenade the Grass offers each customer a personal choice of which sanctuary they would like their dollar to go towards. This is chosen at the end of each order in the checkout area. The amount of money accumulated through the 40% profits will be posted for all our customers to see for themselves, how each deserving* Sanctuary has been supported.

The inspiration behind Serenade the Grass’ clothing comes from designing clothing which we ourselves would feel comfortable, and proud to wear in the hopes of allowing our community to feel the same pride and comfort as we do, while still promoting animal rights.

Serenade the Grass believes it is our right and duty to make sure our younger generations and those to come after, are provided with the proper education of harmful effects of animal exploitation and we do this by offering clothing to infants, children and adults. There is no age restriction on our merchandise.

* To find an Animal Rescue /Sanctuary as deserving we have contacted each organization to see if they meet our criteria; such as, being ethically vegan, refusing to participate in animal testing, or any animal exploitation, and finding how much funding they get through investors and other third parties. If they receive donations over a specific amount of money, then we look for a different organization that relies on our donations more frequently. There are lots of organizations out there, and we do our best to provide our donations to the ones who need the most community support.
