Lineal Middleweight World Champion Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) and WBC/WBA/IBO Middleweight World Champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs) will return to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for their historic 12-round rematch on Saturday, Sept. 15. In September 2017, Canelo and GGG met in the ring for the first time across a competitive 12 rounds of action that ended in a split draw. The battle drew a record crowd for an indoor boxing event in Las Vegas, selling out T-Mobile Arena in less than two weeks and bringing legions of fans from Mexico to Kazakhstan and everywhere in between.

A championship doubleheader will take center stage when UFC returns to Dallas on Saturday, September 8. In the UFC 228 main event, undisputed welterweight champion Tyron Woodley puts his title on the line for the fourth time against unbeaten British banger Darren Till, whose rapid rise to the top of the 170-pound weight class culminates in what promises to be a title fight to remember. Plus, after a stirring run on The Ultimate Fighter that resulted in her becoming the first women’s flyweight champion in UFC history, Nicco Montano will defend her belt for the first time when she battles No. 1 contender Valentina Shevchenko.

“BKFC 2: A New Era” will see the return of UFC veteran, and now the “Queen of Bare Knuckle” Bec Rawlings, who will face pro boxer Britain Hart. The stacked card will also include the Semi-Final Round of the BKFC Heavyweight Tournament, with Sam Shewmaker vs Maurice Jackson, and Arnold Adams vs Joey Beltran.
A veteran of both the UFC and Bellator, Beltran won the Heavyweight Tournament alternate bout at BKFC 1, when he defeated Tony Lopez in what was widely considered “fight ...of the night” by both fans and media. Beltran replaces former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez, who has withdrawn from the Heavyweight Tournament due to injury, but will return on a future BKFC card. Tony Lopez meanwhile, earned a place on BKFC 2 through his outstanding fight vs Beltran, and will now face 26 fight pro boxing veteran Mike Bissett.

The main event includes a showdown between two of the top middleweights in the game today as Florida’s Reggie “The Regulator” Pena (14-6) makes his Music City return to take on Georgia’s Douglas “Yamato” Usher (9-3). Pena has had success at welterweight and middleweight and is currently riding a four-fight winning streak — all finishes. The 35-year-old Champions MMA product most recently submitted Rashaun Spencer in a 185-pound matchup at V3 Fights 61 last August. “The Regula...tor” is very well-rounded with six of his 14 career wins coming by way of knockout and six by submission. Pena has fought under the M-1 Global and WSOF banners and made his last appearance in Nashville when he took out UFC vet John Salter via submission in the XFC 18 main event on AXSTV in June 2012.
Pena is going to have his hands full against “Yamato” Usher who is presently riding a five-fighting winning streak, with four coming by way of knockout. Usher, also 35, fights out of Moab Fighting Concepts in Atlanta and has finished seven of his nine wins via knockout. A veteran of both the Legacy FC and Valor organizations, Usher most recently knocked out Chase Gamble in the second round in the NFC 104 main event in April.
