We were looking for a new SUV, more on the European side, not having a lot of experience with domestic in the past. We were referred to Sherwood Buick GMC by friends, and decided to look into a Yukon. It was quite a change from the smaller SUV we replacing, and we were a little hesitant because of the size. The truck was/is phenomenal, but the service amazing. They had a Denali at our doorstep the day after discussing viewing one over the phone, which we test drove for a little over a week and loved. After deciding the truck was for us - the transaction was smooth and quick. Wayne was a dream to work with and continues to support us with any questions & concerns. We highly recommend this dealership and are extremely happy with our choice in vehicles.

I’ve had some pretty intense horror stories with dealerships, but this isn’t one of them. Jess & her Management team went above and beyond what I expected when matching me with a vehicle.



Despite the horrible service job, and the attitude I witnessed from the service department manager, Jess & her team continued to convey professional attitudes with the determination to keep me happy. They totally succeeded.

I wanted to write this review based on my experience with Sherwood Buick GMC and my salesmen Corvette Batt. I responded to an online ad on Autotrader.ca and was almost immediately replied too by Corvette. I had some questions regarding a 2015 Chevrolet ZL1 Convertible and I was planning to trade my BMW in. He was able help me out and answered all my questions very quickly. We started texting back and forth and discussed numbers. We were able to get some help getting the deal done from Brad Stewart. Robyn Reinitz from the finance department was excellent and got back to me very quickly

I purchased this car sight unseen based on their word and the feeling I as getting from these guys.I live in Calgary and this car was in Sherwood Park. I have no regrets what so ever. Car is mint and there were no surprises at all. I had some questions about some add ons and I was contacted by their parts guy Derek Donnelly who answered all of my questions and gave his advice on what to purchase. When I picked up my car everything was installed and again there were no surprises. Corvette was excellent to deal with the entire time and all of the staff I dealt with were excellent and the experience was exactly how you want to feel buying a new vehicle.

My past 5 vehicles have all been with BMW and Lexus and I have come to expect superior service when purchasing and maintaining a car. I had been looking for a new vehicle for sometime. I looked around at a number of BC dealerships, but when it came to cost, the dealers were sorry they couldn't help me find what I needed. I called Sherwood GMC and spoke with Simon. Told him what I wanted and my price range. Even thou what I was looking for was out of my price range, Simon offered to keep helping me find something of similar needs and in my range. I went in to buy a truck and was impressed with the greeting and knowledgeable staff at first .

However when I went back to pick up my truck that I had made a deal on and to my surprise they had a different truck completely for me. I had only one complaint after my test drive and that was that the console was squeaking when on uneven ground. Well they solved that problem they had a bare bones truck with no options at all ready for me. I asked if they got robbed in the night. So when I was to pick up my truck at 11:00am it was after 1:00pm still no truck. ( nothing to eat either)They had meetings finally I got upset and they finally worked it out.

Now I have rust starting on my front bumper and running boards and they say it was caused by rock chips. Which isn't the case, but what really makes me mad is how they think it is a joke. All they want is to get me to trade in my truck and get a new one. NOT A CHANCE !!!!

I was extremely happy with Brian Harper and Phil of sales in selling me my truck and getting me the deal I wanted.the are great to deal with and extremely professional..but I i had to bring my truck back for a minor problem and get my 3m package finished..and the service department was very very disappointing..so I have to say it the best sales department I have ever dealt with but probably the worst service department..

To possible GM owners,



We bought a brand new GMC Denali terrain at the beginning of January, went to drive it off the lot and there were a bunch of electrical problems. They told us the battery was dead and would fix it first thing the next morning. So after it was “fixed” and we went to take it home, not even 5 mins down the road and everything turned off again. At that point everything was already signed and finalized. So they took it back and it took them 6 days to say it was the stereo and it was “fixed and good to go” we have it for 5 days and on the highway in minus -30 again everything turned off, headlights, heat, defrost basically everything electric again. At this point we had contacted the manager and voice our concerns about how the terrain wasn’t safe nor trust worthy, and all they could say is they were sorry and we should be able to get into a new one because this wasn’t ok. After a week of it being in the shop and talking to GM direct they decided they couldn’t get us into a new one and that they figured out the problem for the terrain and they had to find/order a part for it..... it’s been to weeks and the part just came in today and it would be done today, called back to check in and now it won’t be done till Monday because it’s to big of a job. So we haven’t had our Brand New Denali Terrian for about a month... still making all our payments and that’s just AOK! Basically nothing but an absolute joke, as soon as it was signed they could do nothing, I don’t know about you but I don’t think anyone should buy a Brand new car and not have it for a month and no one care in the slightest. I would never recommend anyone buying from them without driving it for a day or two and making sure everything is working order before singing any paperwork. In all my experiences buying vehicles, this is by far the worst.

The experience of buying the actual truck was fine. We purchased a brand new gmc though so of course we were treated amazing when we bought. The problem came here after when our sales man, corvette, told us of their referral program. He said if you refer someone to us and they buy a vehicle, you will get $500 from us.....well we sent our parents over there when they were in the market for a truck and they bought a Denali pick up from them. At the time of purchase my parents told them they were referred by us and their sales man said our cheque would be in the mail.....needless to say the cheque never showed. And so the calls began....we called the sales men, who assured us the cheque was on the way and we waited only to have nothing yet again. After the sales men started ignoring us, we spoke to to a manager twice and again were never contacted back and no cheque and then they began to ignore us again! Then a Jess from finance contacted me and wanted me to upgrade my truck and when I told her about my disgust with this situation she said she would fix the problem right away and even promised to send us a picture of the cheque to prove it was on the way. I was so thankful to her because I thought it was finally over, but guess what? No picture came and no one contacted us and when I told her this, she again began to ignore me also. I have the texts to prove this. This makes us feel all around cheated and disrespected and we will NEVER purchase another vehicle here ever again. My husband lived in Sherwood park his whole life and that’s why we went there, however now we will caution everyone we know to never step foot in this establishment. The fact that they are willing to lie to their customers and treat them with such ignorance says allot about who they are. We tried everything before taking this route of sharing our story....all they had to do was give us what was promised....I highly recommend no one uses this dealership unless you want to be lied to and given the run around.

If you're going to deal on trucks via text message make sure you keep your deal straight Sherwood Park GMC/Chevrolet. My husband and I just wasted our afternoon traveling to the bank for a money draft, pink card and registration for a vehicle that we were not dealing on. Text message exchange was clear that we were dealing on a durmax but when we showed up we were greeted with a gas vehicle. Lesson learned for us as well .... though we expected a lot more from Sherwood Park GMC. Seems they're too busy to care about their prospective customers. Won't be getting our business again anytime soon.

I'm hoping an owner eventually reads this so they know how their employees are representing their business. Taking as your employees in all departments have now ignored all phone calls, voice mails, emails, and texts asking to get back to me with a resolution not a "too bad so sad".

Was a great process purchasing our verano; you guys made it sound like your the best dealership around to do business with! But the amount of run arounds I've gone through with everything after purchasing the car, is not worth anyones time/ hassle. It's been five months after purchasing a used vehicle from you, and i wish i had gone else where. The amount of back n forth stories I've heard from your employees when they are trying to cover their own mistakes and blame it on me as a customer, is outrageous. Even with having extended warranty, and the car messing up from services your dealership provided! As a beware to anyone looking at purchasing a used vehicle from Sherwood Buick GMC, save yourself the time and buy a used vehicle from a dealership who will actually care about you as a customer; because these guys do not!

Sales person is nice person he tried to help

But when I show the sales manger the offer on line he said we don’t do this any more explain to him it’s on ur website he was not helpful at all, I didn’t like the way I was treated from him, and he said if u want me to match the online I will put 5% interest rate not 0% as it new car explain to them that if he add interest rate he will take the discount away it will be the same, I am just fighting this to let every one know they are not honest with there promotions.

I responded to an online ad on Autotrader.ca and was almost immediately replied too by Corvette. I had some questions regarding a 2015 Chevrolet ZL1 Convertible and I was planning to trade my BMW in. He was able help me out and answered all my questions very quickly. We started texting back and forth and discussed numbers. We were able to get some help getting the deal done from Brad Stewart. Robyn Reinitz from the finance department was excellent and got back to me very quickly

I purchased this car sight unseen based on their word and the feeling I as getting from these guys.I live in Calgary and this car was in Sherwood Park. I have no regrets what so ever. Car is mint and there were no surprises at all. I had some questions about some add ons and I was contacted by their parts guy Derek Donnelly who answered all of my questions and gave his advice on what to purchase. When I picked up my car everything was installed and again there were no surprises. Corvette was excellent to deal with the entire time and all of the staff I dealt with were excellent and the experience was exactly how you want to feel buying a new vehicle.

My past 5 vehicles have all been with BMW and Lexus and I have come to expect superior service when purchasing and maintaining a car. I went in to buy a truck and was impressed with the greeting and knowledgeable staff at first .

However when I went back to pick up my truck that I had made a deal on and to my surprise they had a different truck completely for me. I had only one complaint after my test drive and that was that the console was squeaking when on uneven ground. Well they solved that problem they had a bare bones truck with no options at all ready for me. I asked if they got robbed in the night. So when I was to pick up my truck at 11:00am it was after 1:00pm still no truck. ( nothing to eat either)They had meetings finally I got upset and they finally worked it out.

Now I have rust starting on my front bumper and running boards and they say it was caused by rock chips. Which isn't the case, but what really makes me mad is how they think it is a joke. All they want is to get me to trade in my truck and get a new one. NOT A CHANCE !!!!

We bought a brand new GMC Denali terrain at the beginning of January, went to drive it off the lot and there were a bunch of electrical problems. They told us the battery was dead and would fix it first thing the next morning. So after it was “fixed” and we went to take it home, not even 5 mins down the road and everything turned off again. At that point everything was already signed and finalized. So they took it back and it took them 6 days to say it was the stereo and it was “fixed and good to go” we have it for 5 days and on the highway in minus -30 again everything turned off, headlights, heat, defrost basically everything electric again. At this point we had contacted the manager and voice our concerns about how the terrain wasn’t safe nor trust worthy, and all they could say is they were sorry and we should be able to get into a new one because this wasn’t ok. After a week of it being in the shop and talking to GM direct they decided they couldn’t get us into a new one and that they figured out the problem for the terrain and they had to find/order a part for it..... it’s been to weeks and the part just came in today and it would be done today, called back to check in and now it won’t be done till Monday because it’s to big of a job. So we haven’t had our Brand New Denali Terrian for about a month... still making all our payments and that’s just AOK! Basically nothing but an absolute joke, as soon as it was signed they could do nothing, I don’t know about you but I don’t think anyone should buy a Brand new car and not have it for a month and no one care in the slightest. I would never recommend anyone buying from them without driving it for a day or two and making sure everything is working order before singing any paperwork. In all my experiences buying vehicles, this is by far the worst.

The experience of buying the actual truck was fine. We purchased a brand new gmc though so of course we were treated amazing when we bought. The problem came here after when our sales man, corvette, told us of their referral program. He said if you refer someone to us and they buy a vehicle, you will get $500 from us.....well we sent our parents over there when they were in the market for a truck and they bought a Denali pick up from them. At the time of purchase my parents told them they were referred by us and their sales man said our cheque would be in the mail.....needless to say the cheque never showed. And so the calls began....we called the sales men, who assured us the cheque was on the way and we waited only to have nothing yet again. After the sales men started ignoring us, we spoke to to a manager twice and again were never contacted back and no cheque and then they began to ignore us again! Then a Jess from finance contacted me and wanted me to upgrade my truck and when I told her about my disgust with this situation she said she would fix the problem right away and even promised to send us a picture of the cheque to prove it was on the way. I was so thankful to her because I thought it was finally over, but guess what? No picture came and no one contacted us and when I told her this, she again began to ignore me also. I have the texts to prove this. This makes us feel all around cheated and disrespected and we will NEVER purchase another vehicle here ever again. My husband lived in Sherwood park his whole life and that’s why we went there, however now we will caution everyone we know to never step foot in this establishment. The fact that they are willing to lie to their customers and treat them with such ignorance says allot about who they are. We tried everything before taking this route of sharing our story....all they had to do was give us what was promised....I highly recommend no one uses this dealership unless you want to be lied to and given the run around.

If you're going to deal on trucks via text message make sure you keep your deal straight Sherwood Park GMC/Chevrolet. My husband and I just wasted our afternoon traveling to the bank for a money draft, pink card and registration for a vehicle that we were not dealing on. Text message exchange was clear that we were dealing on a durmax but when we showed up we were greeted with a gas vehicle. Lesson learned for us as well .... though we expected a lot more from Sherwood Park GMC. Seems they're too busy to care about their prospective customers. Won't be getting our business again anytime soon.

I'm hoping an owner eventually reads this so they know how their employees are representing their business. Taking as your employees in all departments have now ignored all phone calls, voice mails, emails, and texts asking to get back to me with a resolution not a "too bad so sad".

Was a great process purchasing our verano; you guys made it sound like your the best dealership around to do business with! But the amount of run arounds I've gone through with everything after purchasing the car, is not worth anyones time/ hassle. It's been five months after purchasing a used vehicle from you, and i wish i had gone else where. The amount of back n forth stories I've heard from your employees when they are trying to cover their own mistakes and blame it on me as a customer, is outrageous. Even with having extended warranty, and the car messing up from services your dealership provided! But when I show the sales manger the offer on line he said we don’t do this any more explain to him it’s on ur website he was not helpful at all, I didn’t like the way I was treated from him, and he said if u want me to match the online I will put 5% interest rate not 0% as it new car explain to them that if he add interest rate he will take the discount away it will be the same, I am just fighting this to let every one know they are not honest with there promotions.

Bought a used Focus RS from here. The crew was able to help me finance after we came to a deal. The best part was after I bought my Car. I went in to buy a truck and was impressed with the greeting and knowledgeable staff at first .

However when I went back to pick up my truck that I had made a deal on and to my surprise they had a different truck completely for me. I had only one complaint after my test drive and that was that the console was squeaking when on uneven ground. Well they solved that problem they had a bare bones truck with no options at all ready for me. I asked if they got robbed in the night. So when I was to pick up my truck at 11:00am it was after 1:00pm still no truck. ( nothing to eat either)They had meetings finally I got upset and they finally worked it out.

Now I have rust starting on my front bumper and running boards and they say it was caused by rock chips. Which isn't the case, but what really makes me mad is how they think it is a joke. All they want is to get me to trade in my truck and get a new one. NOT A CHANCE !!!!

Hey just showed the Service Manager, he's agreed to polish it and seal it under our dollar.

Me:

How can polishing fix rust?

Sales person:

I guess just by looking he can tell.

Me:

Well both sides are the same place. That's pretty unique rock placment

I guess you just got lucky haha. He said that from the pictures he can tell that the wear came from rock rash

How about the edges that are on top where rocks can't get to.

As well the bumper is rusting by the black plastic where rocks can't get either

Now they changed their minds and fixed my truck. So I upgraded their rating to a 3.

I was extremely happy with Brian Harper and Phil of sales in selling me my truck and getting me the deal I wanted.the are great to deal with and extremely professional..but I i had to bring my truck back for a minor problem and get my 3m package finished..and the service department was very very disappointing..so I have to say it the best sales department I have ever dealt with but probably the worst service department..

To possible GM owners,



We bought a brand new GMC Denali terrain at the beginning of January, went to drive it off the lot and there were a bunch of electrical problems. They told us the battery was dead and would fix it first thing the next morning. So after it was “fixed” and we went to take it home, not even 5 mins down the road and everything turned off again. At that point everything was already signed and finalized. So they took it back and it took them 6 days to say it was the stereo and it was “fixed and good to go” we have it for 5 days and on the highway in minus -30 again everything turned off, headlights, heat, defrost basically everything electric again. At this point we had contacted the manager and voice our concerns about how the terrain wasn’t safe nor trust worthy, and all they could say is they were sorry and we should be able to get into a new one because this wasn’t ok. After a week of it being in the shop and talking to GM direct they decided they couldn’t get us into a new one and that they figured out the problem for the terrain and they had to find/order a part for it..... it’s been to weeks and the part just came in today and it would be done today, called back to check in and now it won’t be done till Monday because it’s to big of a job. So we haven’t had our Brand New Denali Terrian for about a month... still making all our payments and that’s just AOK! Basically nothing but an absolute joke, as soon as it was signed they could do nothing, I don’t know about you but I don’t think anyone should buy a Brand new car and not have it for a month and no one care in the slightest. I would never recommend anyone buying from them without driving it for a day or two and making sure everything is working order before singing any paperwork. In all my experiences buying vehicles, this is by far the worst.

The experience of buying the actual truck was fine. We purchased a brand new gmc though so of course we were treated amazing when we bought. The problem came here after when our sales man, corvette, told us of their referral program. He said if you refer someone to us and they buy a vehicle, you will get $500 from us.....well we sent our parents over there when they were in the market for a truck and they bought a Denali pick up from them. At the time of purchase my parents told them they were referred by us and their sales man said our cheque would be in the mail.....needless to say the cheque never showed. And so the calls began....we called the sales men, who assured us the cheque was on the way and we waited only to have nothing yet again. After the sales men started ignoring us, we spoke to to a manager twice and again were never contacted back and no cheque and then they began to ignore us again! Then a Jess from finance contacted me and wanted me to upgrade my truck and when I told her about my disgust with this situation she said she would fix the problem right away and even promised to send us a picture of the cheque to prove it was on the way. I was so thankful to her because I thought it was finally over, but guess what? No picture came and no one contacted us and when I told her this, she again began to ignore me also. I have the texts to prove this. This makes us feel all around cheated and disrespected and we will NEVER purchase another vehicle here ever again. My husband lived in Sherwood park his whole life and that’s why we went there, however now we will caution everyone we know to never step foot in this establishment. The fact that they are willing to lie to their customers and treat them with such ignorance says allot about who they are. We tried everything before taking this route of sharing our story....all they had to do was give us what was promised....I highly recommend no one uses this dealership unless you want to be lied to and given the run around.

If you're going to deal on trucks via text message make sure you keep your deal straight Sherwood Park GMC/Chevrolet. My husband and I just wasted our afternoon traveling to the bank for a money draft, pink card and registration for a vehicle that we were not dealing on. Text message exchange was clear that we were dealing on a durmax but when we showed up we were greeted with a gas vehicle. Lesson learned for us as well .... though we expected a lot more from Sherwood Park GMC. Seems they're too busy to care about their prospective customers. Won't be getting our business again anytime soon.

I'm hoping an owner eventually reads this so they know how their employees are representing their business. Taking as your employees in all departments have now ignored all phone calls, voice mails, emails, and texts asking to get back to me with a resolution not a "too bad so sad".

Was a great process purchasing our verano; you guys made it sound like your the best dealership around to do business with! But the amount of run arounds I've gone through with everything after purchasing the car, is not worth anyones time/ hassle. It's been five months after purchasing a used vehicle from you, and i wish i had gone else where. The amount of back n forth stories I've heard from your employees when they are trying to cover their own mistakes and blame it on me as a customer, is outrageous. Even with having extended warranty, and the car messing up from services your dealership provided! As a beware to anyone looking at purchasing a used vehicle from Sherwood Buick GMC, save yourself the time and buy a used vehicle from a dealership who will actually care about you as a customer; because these guys do not!

I went on line found a good deal on 2017 Buick car, went to the shop to buy the suv

Sales person is nice person he tried to help

But when I show the sales manger the offer on line he said we don’t do this any more explain to him it’s on ur website he was not helpful at all, I didn’t like the way I was treated from him, and he said if u want me to match the online I will put 5% interest rate not 0% as it new car explain to them that if he add interest rate he will take the discount away it will be the same, I am just fighting this to let every one know they are not honest with there promotions.
