A memorial to Captain Gord de Jong who died when his Tutor ( #8) broke apart due to a failed fitting at the Grande Prairie Airshow in 1978. Coincidentally, 2020 is the Snowbird's 50th anniversary. Follow the erection of a Tutor on a rotating pedestal.
