So Very Loved Designs Description
Last year, I hit a pretty low point in my life after losing my first pregnancy. When my doctor told me that I was going through a depression, I knew I needed to find a way out.
I am not an artsy kind of person- so I am still not completely sure how art became an outlet for me, but it did. Words- song lyrics, quotes and Bible verses, have always been important to me, especially when I am going through a tough time. I needed a way to express these words, and that is how I got into hand-lettering. It became my escape from everything that was going on around me. If I was having a tough night and I couldn't think about anything other than my loss, I started to focus on words that made me happy and turned them into something beautiful.
It started as an outlet, but now it is a true hobby. I love sitting down with my pen and my paint, and seeing what words I can bring to life. I have been creating these for almost two years now, and have had quite a few people tell me that I should look into selling them. It's taken until now, but I think I am finally at a point where I am confident enough with my paintings that I would like to try this. For now, I want to just stick to selling to friends and family, and I will see where that leads me : )

Just made this watercolour painting using my new Prima Metallic Accents paint that was gifted to me from a Secret Santa! I used regular watercolour and then added a few splashes of the metallic shimmer for effect- I think it’s beautiful!!! (You can’t see the full effect in a picture- it really makes a difference though!) So if you order and would like a shimmer accent, make sure to let me know! 😍
