Soul Essentials began with my search to find a natural product to use on my son's skin. He has a genetic condition which leaves his skin very dry and needs something to sooth and heal. Not wanting to use creams and lotions filled with chemicals on his very delicate and absorbant skin, I found it hard to find natural products that worked for him without needing to reapply constantly. Then a close friend shared a two ingredient based recipe she found and thought it was worth a try. I whipped up a batch and tried it out, it was better than what we had been trying. So I decided to play around and add some other butters and oils to the mix until I found what worked for my little guy. Once I shared the finished product with family and friends they were loving it! Aside from the smooth ceamy texture I have recieved feedback of improvement of eczema, psoriasis and healing and brightening of tattoos! With my family in mind and my desire to have a little pampering, Sea salt scrub was added and recently deodorant. Next on the to do list is a natural sunscrean. . . . then who knows what.
