About Speeders

Speeders has been a staple of the Canadian karting scene since it opened its doors in 2011. The concept of indoor electric karting delivering speeds up to 70km /hr with instant torque took off immediately. Speeders built its second location in Calgary in 2013 and in third in Vancouver in 2016. In both cases Speeders was the first electric karting venue in the city. In 2018, Speeders was acquired by a new group of owners who wanted to take the business in a new direction and give their communities something that they hadn't seen before. They quickly got to work on introducing new ideas and concepts to make karting a more fun and social experience. When the global pandemic and lockdowns hit in 2020, they used the time to reimagine what the next level of the Speeders experience could look like. Instead of waiting for restrictions to lift, they got to work on rebuilding a state-of-the-art facility in Edmonton. Now their visions are turning into reality with a new concept that includes an incredible multi-level track, a restaurant and bar and other amazing attractions like duckpin bowling and augmented reality axe throwing.
