SCITCS is an Edmonton-based non-profit org in Canada dedicated to enhance the quality of life of Albertans with spinal cord injury.

Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Centre Society Description

The Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Centre (Northern Alberta) Society (SCITCS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping others help themselves.

Run by a volunteer board and sustained by a dedicated group of volunteers, SCITCS continues to provide support to persons with a spinal cord injury through five main facilities:

(1) The SCITCS FES Exercise Clinic, located in The Steadward Centre at the University of Alberta, Edmonton.
(2) The Saville Community Sports Centre.
(3) The Neurological Unit at the Glenrose Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital Edmonton.
(4) The SCITCS FES Research Laboratory Faculty of Medicine, University of Alberta.
(5) Student Clinic Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Alberta
