You are invited to our annual Shrove Tuesday celebration which begins at 5:30pm on Tues. March 5 with a delicious pancake supper joyfully prepared by Chris and team, followed by a brief gathering in our sanctuary to mark the beginning of Lent, once supper is cleared up around 7pm. There is no charge for this supper, however we will gratefully accept donations to offset the cost. ALL are welcome! We look forward to seeing you!

LGBTQ2S....so many letters. What do they all mean? Join us this Sunday Jan 27 at noon for a potluck and our first Affirming learning event! ALL are welcome to join us as we begin this path to becoming a recognized Affirming Ministry.

This special advent service will tell the Christmas story though lessons and carols lead by the United on Whyte choir.

Here are a few more photos from the Chancel Ringer’s Christmas service at Garneau Hall. It was really nice to be there! Photos were taken by our gracious and enthusiastic host, Brenda, who is Garneau Hall’s recreation program director. Thank you for such a warm welcome.

Here is a link to a short video of the Chancel Ringers from United on Whyte playing at Garneau Hall, a seniors residence on Whyte Avenue close to the University of Alberta. It was the 18th year the Chancel Ringers had conducted a Christmas service with hymn singing, Scripture readings, prayers and of course several handbell and chime pieces. A wonderful way to mark the first Sunday in Advent!
