Red Deer Public Library has another awesome program happening at their downtown branch this afternoon! Join us in the Mezz at 2pm to make accessories and treats for your pets! You also get to spend some time with a rescue dog afterwards!

Hope everyone is having a fun and safe start to their summer! This Wednesday at 2pm, the downtown branch of the public library is hosting their Art 2 Eat program! Join us to create (and eat) masterpieces out of food, and for a chance to win a gourmet snack basket!

We wish you a wonderful and blessed summer vacation! Please note that school office opens for new student registration on August 24, 2018. Our first day of school for students is August 30, 2018.

The 2018 RDCRS READS Summer Reading Program is here!
St. Thomas Aquinas school is sending library books and book bags home with students to read over the summer again! We are also trying something new- Maker Kits! Students can choose one of a variety of kits (gardening, colouring, games, building sets) to take home and keep.
Ms. Hall will be helping out with the downtown public library's programs every Wednesday afternoon (2-3:30pm) starting July 11th, and ending August 15t...h. You can also find her at the Dawe branch on July 12th (1-2pm) and 26th (1-2:30pm) helping out with the Lego Film Club. You can return your summer reading books early to her on any of those days
This award-winning program started in the summer of 2014 and is designed to eliminate summer reading loss and foster a love of reading through continued access to books.
Parents, students and staff are invited to take and submit photos of their child participating in our Summer Reading Program for a chance to win 1 of 3 $50 Amazon gift cards.
