Last Thursday of the month at Tavern on Whyte we have Boogie Nights, this month we will be doing a request dance party. Hosted by our very own DJ Sip. Come down and request the songs that make you dance like no one is watching.
We will have $4.75 Big Rock, and $4.00 shots of Burt Reynolds.

Tavern is another year older! And you know what that means... Shots, beers and games! With guest bartenders Joseph Rothrock and Matt Foster rockin behind the wood and Kevin Martin spinning the tastiest tunes around!

The soup this week is a vegan pumpkin harvest soup.
Feature burger is the "aloha, aloha", our beef Patty topped with teriyaki sauce, ham, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese, served on a Kaiser bun with, mayo, lettuce, and red onion.
... Remember that tomorrow we will be having a special karaoke, and will not be having nerdwars. Nerdwars will return next Wednesday with adult swim as the theme.

Helping Handbags is a Women's movement to help women who have been forced out onto the streets. What more can I say? It's the only place I can be loud, myself and people don't get all uptight, and believe me I'm loud, ask Colleen!

This is our first time coming here and we were pleasantly surprised! It was Monday night bingo and it's incredibly nice that the bingo was FREE to play! The food menu for the night was simple: various hot dogs and poutine. The beer is cold and the food is hot. The service is quick and friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

The place was great! The service was first rate, the food was amazing, and i also thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails. All in all, Awesome.

The exact kind of pub food you want from a place. Super affordable and the beer selection is pretty damn decent.

Super chill, great promotions (my favorite being Monday Night Bingo), great food selection, fantastic staff. Can't ask for much more from a bar. Tavern is definitely my new hangout now.

So very good. Helpful friendly and so competent staff. And did I mention the food? We recommend the fries, the onion rings , the brisket and the pizza (11 revelers post pub crawl were handled quickly and cheerfully). Go you won't be sorry

Love Tavern it's a home away from home! My drink is usually ready for me by the time I hug my friends and head to the bar! The Thursday open mic is sublime! The new menu is to die for... we go here for dinner now often. Not just because we are going for drinks.

I love staffs and amazing people here. They look like my old old friends.

Great spot. Friendly staff, awesome hidden back patio, good food, good drinks (ahem, Steam Whistle), and the most badass Caesar in town. The new owners have done a great job keeping the momentum going after the previous owners (wonderful people) left. Top notch place. It always seems extremely clean, which is a plus.

Friendly and welcoming staff, who are all great singers I must say, I'm usually there on Fridays or Tuesday for karaoke and they keep letting me sing after i butcher songs. Wonderful hosts, great atmosphere, cozy, really good food, good specials and I don't burn a hole in my wallet either. I don't know what else to say but if I did I'm sure it would be more good things.

First time there last night to try the huge ass Caesar. .. delicious and it kicked my ass LOL ... staff was friendly we will be back again

Like how can you even cook them properly to what a customer wants !

I gave ya 3 stars because the service is good and the drinks are great !

But I'll never order the steak again !

The server was stuck up, I didn't get what I ordered, and being there for 2 1/2 hours, she came only the one time. Even when I called for service, she ignored me. But I'm not allowed to bring in my water, yet I can't get service for a damn water. When you get someone something other than what they ordered, they aren't going to be happy. So you aren't going to get a big tip for that drink. But ignoring all of us, including the people who came to join after, that's just not doing your job. I will never recommend this place nor will I ever go back.
