Staring August 7-31 we are featuring a touch of Italy with our Prime Alberta Beef. Chef Natalie invites you to join us to try her Filet Caprese. A6oz Filet Mignon resting on a bed of asparagus, topped with roasted tomatoes, fresh basil, capped with melted mozzarella and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Served with garlic mashed potatoes. ( evening menu only).

Well let’s try something a bit different. Our Chef Natalie has come up with a delicious feature meal, Chicken Scallopini, that we will be serving for the rest of the month. A crusted chicken breast served on a bed of homemade noodles with a white wine cream sauce. (Features are only sold in evenings).

Once again our flower beds are full of flowers just in time for Mother’s Day and looking great. A BIG Thank You to Jaylene and her mom Lynn for taking the time to plant them today.

They know me. I have my table. At this restaurant I don't even open my menu. They serve me with perfect timing and a fond regard. The family of staff here is simply the best. Every meal is worth everything.

I was in charge of finding the perfect spot for a family celebration in Medicine Hat. I only had to look as far as The Beefeater as I knew it wouldn't disappoint. The food was incredible! Best meal in town and the staff is top notch.

I always have a great experience at the Beefeater. Service and Food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.

Had a great lunch with my husband. Food was fabulous. We can't afford to go often but it is a very nice treat when we do.

Booked a table for Saturday night, we had the nightly special which was Steak and Lobster and it was OUTSTANDING!!! Our party of 3 were all pleased with their stakes and stuffed potatoes. For dessert we had homemade cheesecake and I think we may have found a new place to treat my kids with dessert!! We left happy and full!!

Well the steak itself was good but.... fake crab meat and frozen vegetables don’t really cut it in a steak house of this caliber. So... I don’t think I’ll cone here tomorrow night. Nevertheless it was still a good meal just not extraordinary.

However.

I chose to go to the Beefeater because I prefer to support the small business rather then the massive chain. I could have gone to the Keg. They flat out refused to consider letting me pay a corkage fee to bring my own wine. The wine list they did provide me looked like a piece of the old menu that had been cut with a pair of scissors to remove the prices. I tried to order a Robert Mondovi Cabernet and the waitress responded with, "oh the house red?" No! The RM Cabernet!

Oh sorry that's only by the bottle.

This restaurant has been a staple for someone like me who grew up in Medicine Hat, but I probably won't be going back.

Salad bar and soup were good but the steak wasn't, half of it was fat. It was far under my expectation for the price.

Had the prime rib. Asked for medium rare and it came more or less well done. It had a consistency of been left in the au jus and cut off to portion size.

I was really disappointed me and my husband went yesterday and had supper three beer and sat in the lounge it was a getaway date night. There was another couple in the lounge with there screaming baby kinda disappointed as we went to get away from our own kids and that's why we sat in the lounge.

We went to the keg on Tuesday the week before had steak and lobster and had six drinks and my bill was less money at the keg don't think I will be back

Went here for the first time in 5 years the service was terrible we we're given extreme additude by the server when we complained about food being overcooked.

When we went to pay we're given even more additude when we didn't tip by debit because I had cash on me so the server went to another employee pointed at our table and talked about us.

Extremely over priced for what we got we definitely won't be back the keg is 10 times the resturant and the quality of food and service isn't comparable.

Very disappointed, this was our 4th visit, (as well as our 16th wedding anniversary date night) and each time I kick my self for trying this place. Way over cooked lobster we needed to saw it into chunks to eat with our steak knifes. My wife wanted double veggies instead of rice or a potato and was flat out told no substitutions , which I thought was odd, Service was nothing really special. It's very hard to support local when one does not get the value for there meal. Sadly we won't be back, and will never recommend this place.

The steak was good yet expensive, but the service was appalling. The server never came around to ask how the food was, until the end to collect the plates. Which we then informed her that the one meal wasn't very good due to the Holland day sauce being over cooked. The response we received from her was very defensive and rude, "have you ever had it before" was her exact response. This type of rudeness resulted in NONE of us tipping the normal 20% of the bill, in return she went to a fellow server, pointed to us and was talking about us before we even left our seats. I would not recommend people to spend their hard earned money at this place, it's not worth the headache, and empty wallet.

Terrible service, was going to order steak and lobster, I'm on a special diet that doesn't allow the usual sides, like potato or rice, asked for extra veggies instead and the waitress said she would have to charge me for a side of veggies. When I asked what the veggies were I realized I couldn't have carrot and rutabagas anyway, I asked for asparagus instead, she than said she had to charge me a for a side to have those!! So I'm already paying 50.00 for the steak and lobster, with no sides. And I'm charged for a veggie I can have. Had went to Tumbleweeds a month ago and they were MORE than happy to make a nice dinner for me that I could enjoy. Won't be going back to the Beefeater!!
