Rhea D is a horrible sales rep. I placed an order with her at the store and was promised a delivery date in about a month and did not receive a phone call or anything. All she was just concerned about was her commission. Absolutely horrible customer service from her. She never returned any phone calls even though her manager advised that she would call back. After 2 months delay we get the product and 1 item malfunctioned and still looking to get this item repaired. Warning do not deal with this lady. Makes promised and never fall through.

The customer service was amazing! We walked in told her what we were looking for ave she knew exactly where it was and all the information on the product!! I would definitely go here again to purchase!

My family has been with the brick for quite some time, product and service levels have massively gone down. Bought a washer machine and drying machine because of a decent sale but we could not receive them because the washer was on back order the next day! Then once the washing machine was in, the drying machine was on back order! They would not give us either or because it was a duo sale. Went a month without any washing machine because ours broke down. Had to go down to the store to talk directly to the manager to get things in our favor.

Next thing: my sister bought a bed frame online and it came within a couple weeks. The kicker is the bed was delivered without a bottom piece! So she can't even use the new bed and shes sleeping pretty much on the ground with her mattress. The bottom piece is on BACKORDER. So who knows how long that will be.

Ladies at the desk with customer service are very sweet! But the quality of products and the quality control of their products has been nothing but a disappointment.

Some pretty good deals when you go on a sale day. Nice store with lots to choose from. Almost forgot to mention Gautum and Cathy were great people to deal with.

I purchased my new couch at The Brick and I am very pleased with my experience. The sales staff were friendly but not pushy. I ended up purchasing my couch online during the Family weekend sale and they were gracious enough to honour me with free delivery (after I pointed out that I had received an e-mail offer of free delivery merely hours after I had already purchased it). The delivery guys were quick, efficient and tidy. The only small blip is that they did not call me to tell me what time they were delivering my couch. The quality of the couch is excellent. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase! Thanks, the Brick!

Very bad customer service. I've never been to a store wanting to buy products and they wanting to sell products, but were just rude and seemed eager to get me out. Spent just under $5000 on 5 items and not even a hand shake after the deal was done. They seemed upset with me for wanting free delivery, and then I'm told after paying that they might not have the items in stock!!! I'll never deal with South Common Brick again.

My partner and I had purchased a television from the Brick in South Common, Edmonton. After purchasing the RCA 60" TV which was on sale (only reason why we purchased it) we arrived home shortly after to setup. Within an hour of operation the TV began to display a delay/lag when gaming and watching cable. The display was very pixel like, similar to playing an old gaming console on a newer TV. So we contacted RCA directly with our problem and disappointment and RCA indicated that they provided a 30 Day warranty on the product from the store of purchase.

With that being said, the following day we returned to this the Brick location with our newly purchased tv (not even 24 hours later) and wanted to be credited to put towards a better TV or refunded. We were aware that being refunded was an unlikely option, but asked anyways.

Customer service told us we would be credited and have the amount put towards another TV, so we proceeded to look at our options. While browsing, the store manager approached us regarding the inaccurate information the front desk associate at customer service provided us with. She began to tell myself and my partner that we cannot be credited and that we can dispute the issue with RCA directly (which we already had) or exchange it for the exact same television. I began to explain to the manager our experience the day before when buying the TV (the individual whom "got the sale" had ZERO knowledge on TVs) and how the specs indicated it was compatible for what we required..

* the Brick indicates a 3-day guarantee product satisfaction on their website, which the manager said was not accurate, and they have a ZERO return policy...

The manager didn't listen and blamed us for our purchase by stating, "you get what you pay for, you got a 60' for under 700$..."
The store manager was extremely ignorant, uneducated on the products in her store and condescending towards us.

Long story short, we managed to get a credit, bought a much better brand of TV and will NOT return to the Brick, ever. It was our first and will be our last time purchasing anything from this store again.

bought a bed at the store, which the sales person measured wrong, explaining to us that the bed assembled would be much lower. The delivery part was fine, but after assembling everything the bed comes up to the waist and is very difficult to get into bed. i called customer service which the person had her own attitude and did not try to listen to what was i saying. Just terrible. Do not purchase anything from here. I would give 0 stars if possible.

I purchased an accent chair and it was damaged. Good news is it only takes 5 days for a new chair to be "inspected" - How can it take 5 days to be inspected is my question? I get the call it's ready to be picked up so I drive way out of my way to the west end to take it home and find that this one is also damaged. So the professional "inspector" just accidentally missed the huge rip in the leather. I'll just wait another week since you cannot accommodate a timely delivery. You're totally right though don't make the customer happy just keep them waiting! Great customer service! Apparently I can't get a refund and it's not on the invoice anywhere that I see. Glad you're now making up rules and procedures.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE BRICK SOUTH COMMON! Waste of time and money!!!!!!

Sales associate was wonderful and helpful but the delivery was atrocious. Had to hire someone else to instal my washer and dryer after delivery refused and left the units in the middle of my laundry room.

Customer service agreed to refund a portion of my separate installation charge to show they're "working with me" but I wouldn't need waste my entire Saturday waiting around if delivery had just done their job in the first place.

At the end of the day I'm very frustrated with the lack of professionalism after the purchase was made. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops and fight for money refunded when services were not rendered.

We purchased a microwave and decided that we wanted a different one. It was never used or installed and was still in the box. When we called the store to ask for a return we were told that there was no return or exchange policy. This is outrageous! I will never shop at the brick again.

They're all too eager to sell you on things but approach with the personality of a cockroach. If they weren't constantly badgering you to buy things like a pack of starving hounds seeing a dangling piece of meat, they were off in little groups chatting amongst themselves. Very strange staff, too aggressive, no personality.

Don't ever go to this store!! I looked at reviews but ignored them as I got a good deal. But after purchasing and when I got the delivery for my power recliner which wasn't working properly and arm rests weren't in fine condition. And then I said that I don't want it as it has so many issues, but the brick says that there's no refund policy as it's already in your house. Terrible experience!!! Don't ever go to this store!!

The only reason I am giving three stars is that the sales person I dealt with was very good. When my bedroom furniture arrived the 2 night tables had the backs detached. There were a few dings on them as well. I had donated my other furniture to a charity so had no choice but to accept furniture. After taking a bunch of pictures to prove damage I was offered a cash discount which I accepted as I had no other choice, the couch I purchased a couple of years ago is now going in for repairs. It was a $1200 couch so I would have expected better quality from manufacturers. Good thing I purchased the extended warranty. $600 coffee table had stain coming off after a year and when I contacted them they told me then the warranty I purchased only covered the couch. I was under the impression that when I purchased the warranty it covered all the furniture I had purchased at that time. Make sure you ask about coverage before you waste your money. Will not purchase from them in the future. I thought when Leon's bought the brick out things would be better but I guess not. Buyer be where.
