I have been going to Monti for a few months now and I LOVE my lashes every single time. There’s nothing worse than paying for lashes that look like a nasty, clumpy mess. I’ve been there. Done that. I had just had a horrible experience with one of the big lash businesses here in Red Deer. I felt hopeless, I started searching and that’s when I found Monti. She is such a sweetheart! It’s a breath of fresh air to find someone who is so passionate about their work and the quality of it! So ladies...if you’re looking for gorgeous lashes, a professional lash artist, and someone who will enhance your natural beauty...Monti is your girl � �

I can not tell you enough how much I love these lashes!! They are amazing! Not only is Monti Layne at Lash Diva the up most professional, she provided me with the education about the lashes and process to place them and how the adhesive is the state of the art adhesive. Her business environment is very clean, comfortable, and I was totally relaxed. I don't even know these lashes are on my face other than looking in the mirror to see how beautiful they are.

And the best part for me is I can leave the house without a stitch of make up on other than lip gloss and feel confident that I'm already made up and ready to go!!

I admit I was a skeptic about lash extensions for years. I thought they were a frivolous expenditure that took a lot of upkeep and could never see myself "wasting" my money getting them. After lash extensions started becoming more main stream - I finally decided to try them out. I went to another lash artist, and I was not impressed. My skepticism was realized, as the extensions didn't last long, and they were very poor quality. I never went back for a fill and just let them grow out and fall off eventually. Lesson learned I thought.



I was introduced to Monti by my cousin, who had become one of her clients. I admit I was very impressed with my cousin's lashes - they always looked amazing - but I still could not see myself doing them again. When I got married, about 2 years later I decided I was going to try extensions again for my big day to avoid the inevitable mascara running down my face - and constant reapplication of mascara. Again I went to another lash place - as Monti is in Red Deer and I am in Calgary. The lashes for the wedding were OK - they served their purpose but I was still not happy with the amount of money spent and how they looked. Again I did not go back for a fill and let them fall off.



Fast forward 2 years, and I am now in school studying to be a Registered Massage therapist. I soon found out that I can not wear any eye makeup when I have to massage - as I always end up with makeup running down my face. I stopped wearing any makeup - and was constantly getting asked "are you feeling ok? You look tired." I am a true strawberry blonde - and without makeup have very light lashes. I realized I needed to do something about it.



I finally called Monti and booked my first set of lashes with her. I can't tell you how happy I am that I finally made that appointment. My lashes are AMAZING - they make my eyes pop like crazy. I have had so many people comment on my appearance and ask what was different. The only difference was the luscious, voluminous lashes. As stated I live in Calgary - and I now drive to Red Deer for my appointments with Monti. I will never go to another lash place again. I now know that you get what you pay for - and when you find someone as talented as Monti - you keep coming back.
