If I could give 0 stars I would. For a company that is looking to drive customer experience by asking me to rate them 5 out of 5, they sure do a poor job of making you feel valued. You get different answers from different reps and it seems like if you have a question it is a big inconvenience. Specifically the girl named Amanda who was working at the front desk.

Also Home Depot as an organization has lost my business over $60 as they did not want to match the discount of their competitor because their drywall "is different." Please you order from different manufactures, that's the only difference. I am in the middle of a reno and have spent over $1200 at Home Depot alone, but is seems that this is not significant enough for them. Guess some one else can happily take my money.

Strongly suggest not shopping at Home Depot period, but if you must, do not shop at this one!

Very helpful. They gave me discounts because I was buying supplies for school. Also, I filled out an online comment today asking about some information and they phoned me to discuss it only a couple hours later.

He really made the experience pleasant, he went beyond what is expected for good service.
Cutting precisely and informing us about things we needed to know.
Thanked him and lost our receipt in the store so he happily printed out another.
If you want a smooth blind buying experience I would say you'd be lucky to get him!

Rented a carpet cleaner two weeks ago the system was down so they could not enter me into the system. Returned the cleaner 3 hrs later to pay the rental fee. Said they could not enter me into the system with a prepaid MasterCard. So they were giving me a free rental asked I asked if I need to sign anything they said no and goodbye. Called me two weeks later and said I owe an outstanding balance for a rental!??!!! Unprofessional and unacceptable

Good prices with nice staff.

Called for some item info...was ignored, put on hold, told I did something wrong...then was told to expect a call back in 15 mins. Never got called. Nobody qualified to check for an item so I'm not wasting my time as well as my gas. Poor customer service.

Came here after leaving the "other" option for large hardware stores in town.

I was blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff were. Literally every person I saw said hello or asked if I needed a hand. The guys in the parking lot asked if I needed a hand loading up my new door, and took my cart when I was done.

I don't expect this level of treatment every time, but it was a stark contrast to the "other" place - where I found none of the 3 items on my list, and received no help looking.

In the last 2 months we have dropped close to $20,000 doing renovations and purchasing appliances through this location. We ordered our appliances (Double stoves, cooktop, fridge, dishwasher, microwave range, washer & dryer) in late October for delivery in December, to ensure that we had them when needed. We received a call the week before delivery stating that all appliances we in the delivery warehouse except for the washer and dryer- LG was shipping them as we spoke, they didnt get them in time so it would be a week later delivery.
We asked if we could do an early delivery of those appliances they had in stock, or we offered to pick up, as we were ready for them prior to the date- we were told no. We waited.
Then the call came the day before they were delivering- we'll be there at this time...perfect. We changed our plans around and the delivery came. We did get all minus the dishwasher as it was on back order?! WTF... We were told the dishwasher and all appliances were there it was the washer and dryer we were waiting for.... okay?? Made no sense... cause we were told the appliances were there.
Long story short- we waited 2 months, got most of the appliances, waited for 4 deliveries that never showed... and the dishwasher finally came... then a week later another one came- yep... unannounced. We juggled plans multiple times, waited for deliveries that never showed without a single call to say it was cancelled. Told by the store that this was GE's fault, Manager and Assistant Manager of the store had the WORST customer service skills, the appliance sales people were excellent at selling the products and after the sale were terrible and rude- . We dropped $8000+ on appliances, if I would have known we would have ordered them elsewhere. After speaking to Home Depot Customer Care at headquarters they offered to give us shipping costs back - ummm... okay?? It was supposed to be free?! Then they said they'd double it. $100 back (which was really on $50) on a complete headache is not worth the time. I'll give kudos, where kudo's is due.... this location is not worth the time... drive 10 mins north to St Albert and get way better customer service, you should do the same too.
