The Home Depot

Terrible experience every time. I've lived in the area for four years, visit the store fairly regularly (at least once a month for various items -- a tarp, this time around) and every time I'm followed around. It's getting more than a little bit old. The only reason I continue to patronize this store is the location (5 minute drive). Their selection/stocking is mediocre at best compared to other locations. Those of you who are ignored when you visit, should shop with me. I guarantee you'll have no trouble finding someone to assist you.

Paid over $5000 for carpet. 3 bedrooms and a set of stairs. Was to take 2 weeks or less. 5 weeks in and still no carpet. No customer service. Only response is they don't know where it is. It's a shipping company issue. Carpet paid in full. And to top it off they withhold payments to their Home Depot credit card for 14 days before clearing funds. Horrible experience

My favourite Home Depot to go to. Not crowded and I always find great parking. Great selection and the staff are always helpful. Then I can grab a coffee and shop more in the surrounding businesses.

This is probably a great location if you need some deck furniture or a barbecue. For a tradesman, it is poorly laid out and not well stocked with common hardware and tools. A quick trip to the South Edmonton Common location might yield better results.

Horrible customer service. We found the products we needed for our wooden wall feature we are designing in our house, and spent maybe just over an hour looking for it. Not bad. But then we take it to the cutting station, and they say they won't cut it, but they couldn't give us a reason as to why when we asked. Then we went to customer service and asked to speak to a manager. The man came over and we explained the situation to him, and his response was "There's a handsaw section over there that you can cut it yourself"... it's about 50+ cuts?! He didn't give us any other apology or information, and turned and walked away, even before we did. Completely rude and unhelpful. We even expressed that we just spent over an hour here with our 2 year old son finding the products, and are spending about $500+ ... but he didn't care. Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. They're completely rude and even the cashiers were all standing around doing nothing talking about how exhausted they were.

Friendly staff. Great service each time I go here.

Good hardware store. Close to SW communities Terwillegar, Chappelle, Windermere, Riverbend etc. Staff are helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable for home projects.
