A big thank you to Chris an employee of home depot. (This awesome lady in the plumbing section today,) wow!! I had a project to fix my wife's kitchen faucet because the hand wash hose was leaking and making a mess under the sink. And Chris did everthing she coukd by helping me brainstorm, select a product, turned out my old faucet only has the parts where it was manufactured from hahaha, because it was 2 different thread patterns and sizes that all of Grande Prairie doesn't carry, I checked. This started at 1pm, I kept going back to home depot because of the way Chris dealt with my situation and finally at 8: 30pm when I was exhausted, wife's kitchen sink was still not fixed. Chris looked at me and said your down to one part needed to complete your task and we don't have it because it's a part that would be impossible to find tonight, so we have A discount on a new faucet please return the items that you bought and are not working and go with something that will complete your project. I finally completed the install at 2:00 am, I'm so greatful that Chris spent time and effort, to help me with this today. Means a lot to this husband of 3 kids and a wife that needs her sink and water running, not leaking. My hat is off to you. What a great experience to a long day. HAPPY DAD.

Hands down the worst customer service in Grande Prairie. I have walked towards employees to ask a question and literally have them look at me and run away! A lady even shut a gate on my husband mid-sentence and refused to help us when we had a question. I wish I was making this up! There have been maybe one or two encounters with older employees who have been helpful but through the course of our renovations all of the other employees were terribly rude and unknowlegable. If they didn't know something they basically said nothing and walked away instead of trying to find someone who may have an answer. Incredibly frustrating store.

Timelines mean nothing to this store/company. If you have a big project you want to work on, unless it's on the shelf don't bother ordering ANYTHING with them.

I waited 5 weeks for windows (one window was broken, they waited for US TO NOTICE to order a new one!! That was another 3 weeks) and still waiting for siding its been over 3 weeks and counting.

I have other commitments, projects, timelines to meet and my business is better served else where.

Gave 2 stars because the staff are friendly when you do find someone. The guy (older gent, sturdy build) in the tile aisle is their best assest. Hope he is still there haven't seen him in awhile.

Went there asking for a price match/beat on shingles to redo my house, preparing to spend a good chunk of money. The manager improved the price by 1c per bundle. 1 cent per bundle of shingles lol. Needless to say I went to Rona and bought everything there, where they gave me a very noticeable discount after bringing in my home Depot quote.

Also the customer service is good when I've needed it, but the store always feels way understaffed and the lineups are absolutely ridiculous at times.

Not the greatest....varies it all depends in the hand of the old grandpa clock ...How you gonna get treated it.,,So good luck....

use to work here, and it's the worse company I've dealt with. They pushed me from a department I enjoyed to one I didn't even want, plus when I was asking for help or to be switched they wouldn't even listen. When I put in my resignation as well, I came back from a trip a week later, and they let me go for nor reason only saying "That I wasn't needed anymore".

I used to work here. This store is understaffed. They are trying to meet budgets so they are cutting as many hours as possible. As a result customers aren't happy. I think it's a good place to shop but people are often busy with someone else and/or other associates know no little to nothing about any other department than their own. (The majority of the time)

The staff here are always very helpful and the selection/prices are good.
