The food is wicked! They have a wicked game show style comedy show haha every Wednesday that is super great.

The atmosphere in there almost feels very relaxing and uplifting. Karaoke nights are amazing! The foodies always fresh and hot ready to be eaten and they have an awesome drink menu with very affordable pricing!! I highly recommend this place to anyone!! If you like to just sit back and relax and have some drinks and some food this is the place for you! Even to meet new people, put on a performance during their karaoke, or game nights, etc! Fabulous venue and wonderful owners. �

Nice venue! Great staff! Good food! Been here a couple of times for the Gonzo Game Show Extravaganza on Wednesday nights. Great time, great laughs, fun had by all.

I've always had a fun time here. There is a weekly comedy show on Wednesdays that is extremely entertaining. Food and drink specials are pretty good as well.

At least be original in your new name, rather than the “mercury room 2.0” LOL �

Was the march 5th post supposed to damage control? Here's a social media tip. "How many x does it take to y" is condescending in any context. For a company trying to fix bad press, insulting patrons publicly is probably one of the least helpful things that could be done. Regardless of who owns what name the mercury room that currently exists built that business, built that atmosphere, and built that clientelle. The landlord KNEW exactly what they were doing when they tried to pass off their bar to be as a new and improved version of the prior business. It's intent was to be misleading and its shady. So apart from being shady in business, whoever runs the media page has also shown they have zero class. When in a situation like this it's best to just keep quiet. But now you've generated even more negative rhetoric for yourselves. Maybe this one should be a lesson in humility.

Very original guys. Yknow im sure there was another room exactly like this one. Wonder where I can book with trevor on future shows.



Take off you ungrateful knobs..

Tried to go in on a friday. Got turned away because it was a private show. Even offered to pay 20 bucks for cover! hmmm obviously not in the business of making money...or exposing their artists to new faces.

This is so unacceptable and disrespectful to everyone who worked so hard to make the Mercury Room what it is.

This is not the Real Mercury Room, to use its name to try and benefit off the Success of the real Mercury room is bad business. The Real Mercury room is a staple of the Edmonton Music Scene and to use its name is a disgrace.

These people follow garbage business practices. Shutting down a great music venue for some unoriginal, unprofitable bullshit. Don't give them your money.

Shameless. I will not step foot in this place. People worked really hard to make the mercury room what it was. You guys have no respect.

Seriously??? You don't even have the decency to think of a different name for this place? The previous owner worked incredibly hard to create "The Mercury Room" as a brand and you are just going to change the font and add a "2" at the end of it and assume all the hungry musicians / bands in town and beyond will be banging on your door for gigs? I advise you to change the name. Pure and simple. You will save yourself a lot of hassle in the long run.

Really? Can’t even have the originality to Rename or Rebrand the room? You’re really going to take someone’s established business and business model and try and deceive clientele? Despicable!

If you want this business to succeed, take this page down immediately and change the name. If you want it to fail within a week don't change a thing.

If this is how you're going to involve yourself in the YEG music community, then please just pack your bags now.
