A full day festival celebrating the culture of the Palestinian people!
We know the struggles. We know the politics. We know the pain. Do we really know the talent of the people?
It is time to celebrate the contributions Palestinians make to society through their art, their film, their food, their products, their knowledge, their literature and their music. Our evening show will especially highlight their vibrant comedy scene by featuring the amazing local and international talent. Our headline comics will be DEAN OBEIDALLAH & AMER ZAHR.

HUMANSERVE International aims to share the Palestinian heritage with Albertans and to inform the Canadian public about humanitarian aspects of Palestinians and Lebanese in the Middle East. We endeavor to develop mutual ties with all stakeholders interested in the humanitarian aspects of disadvantaged populations in this area. One of the ways we are able to achieve this goal is to organize public engagement activities such as The Palestinian Bazaar.
Public engagement activities link international development activities with community awareness and education in Canada. By making these links, HUMANSERVE works to facilitate a learning process that will enable Canadians to better understand the nature and importance of global issues.

In the Spirit of World Refugee Day we are sharing photos from our recent trip to the Shatila refugee camp in Beiruit Lebanon.
Humanserve International along with putting on events like The Palestinian Bazaar has supported the funding of the kindergarten since its fruition and has worked alongside our partners The Popular Aid for Relief and Development (PARD) who manage the operations of the kindergarten on the groun...d.
What is the most amazing is the refugee children in the kindergarten. This amazing program gives these beautiful babies a chance at a future, we witnessed them thriving and met some kids that have even gone onto further education because of participating in the kindergarten program. This program gives these children who may never leave the camp in thier life time a chance to write and pass the entrance exams required to move onto grade school in Lebanon and gives thier parents hope for the future.
Amongst the negativity and hate there is always hope, resilience and peace. Contribute to the hope of these refugees by donating to our Kindergarten Program. Even $1 makes a difference.

Humanserve International has hosted the bazaar for many years ... today 3 board members from Humanserve International are embarking on an amazing journey to Lebanon today. Humanserve International has been helping refugees in the area with humanitarian projects. Our board members will be taking photos of our projects and beneficiarie in the next week.
