If I could I would give no stars. This was my experience and the message I wrote to tommy guns
I visited your okotoks alberta location last month with my boyfriend to get a haircut. I have a faux hawk so I thought they would be able to cut my hair better then at chatter and it was more convenient to go there. The lady at the desk didn't make me feel welcome at all. Made me feel like I shouldn't be there. She then proceeded to tell me that my haircut would be $45 because that is what I would be charged at chatters. My boyfriends haircut was $25. We have the same hairstyle same length. Just because I'm a women they charged me almost double for the same service because of my gender. This is 2017 not the 1950s I should not be discriminated against based on my gender. This took away from an otherwise positive experience I had with the lady who cut my hair. I spent over $100 that day on a haircut and shampoo. Until your policies are changed I will never walk into a chatters or tommy guns location. I look forward to hearing back from you

They give the best haircuts. They also will give you a full treatment and massage your scalp (if that's what you order). It felt wonderful and the staff are all very friendly.

i have never been to a barber shop, never even seen a straight razor before.
as i walked in through the door i was greeted with a very well layed out entry. products displayed very well. staff was very nice. i walked to the counter and was asked a few questions and was given a few offers for a haircut etc. my main mission was a full shave to remove a beard i had grown over a good amount of time. i waited for a few minutes in the well thought out waiting room and was offered a drink. ( very nice touch ) but i nicely declined, i then was greeted by jessie who took me in and took care of me. she was ever so pleasant to talk with. she deffinatly knows how to make someone feel comfortable when a straight razor is used. i didnt feel uneasy at all. the peppermint oils and face rub was totally unexpected but very welcome and enjoyable. i highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking to try a warm and inviting place. i look forward to going back again. thank you jessie and the rest of the staff who i will eventually meet... matt
