This Paint Nite is a fundraiser in support of the Help Us Help The Children Charity based out of Toronto. It is a Ukrainian Initiatives Charity that works tirelessly to improve the lives of orphaned children from the current war as well as those involved in the social services sector living in institutionalised settings. The charity... runs summer and winter camp programs for these children, provides scholarships for youth attending Post Secondary, and also runs a variety of educational based workshops on subjects such as AIDS prevention and Anti-Trafficking.
COSL 301, a Ukrainian Initiatives course at MacEwan University has selected 8 bright students to work/run programs at the camp in Ukraine this coming summer. In an extended effort to give back, we are fundraising for Help Us Help The Children so they can continue providing valuable services to children and youth in need (All proceeds made from the event will go to HUHTC).
