If I could give a 0 rating I would, walked in to get a stove element with my mom. First off Penny (i think that’s her name) was at the parts desk she told us to wait because she was waiting for her computer to load to help a customer on the phone then proceeds to ask what we wanted. We told her and then goes back to customer on the phone when her computer finally loads. Leaving us to stand there for 7 mins till she was done on the phone. I appreciate multitasking customers since I’m in customer service myself but when she goes looks for the part in her computer she starts talking to a man that is apparently a repair man she knows completely ignore us, when she finally put her attention back on us she told us they didn’t have the part but she was going to get a similar part that would work. Coming back she had an element but it wouldn’t work our stove so she ‘apparently’ looked up the actual part we need and found it in the west end store. So ordered the right part and we paid, telling us it was at the West End store and we could pick it up there. We drove all the way to the West end to pick it up, arrivaling at the store then proceed to us they don’t carry parts. WHY WOULDN’T SHE TELL US THIS WHEN WE PAID!!! So we arrive at the parts store down the road and find out that it’s the part that wouldn’t fit the stove in the first place, she made us pay for a part that we didn’t want all because she wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing. She said she was an expert in this area, if she an expert then you need to review what your employees are doing in these departments because she was terrible parts person and her customer service was unprofessional and rude!!!

Terrible customer service. Was told my order would take 2-3 weeks, 3 months later still no fridge. Called six times to find out eta and not a single call back, was told the salesman was away or to leave a message. Tried to email twice and still no reply. Even tried to contact a manager and same thing, no manager in that day.

Found the exact same fridge at The Home Depot, had 18 in stock in the warehouse and delivered within a week. Great customer service there and cheaper delivery/ haul away charge.

Went in to Trail Appliance for a refund. Was told I would have to fill out a form to get a refund at a later date. Manager argued with me about the return, said it had to go through the south location for processing. They said they can't do returns at that store? I asked him to call the other store as I will go to that location for the refund, he refused to do so and again argued with me. When I told him they had poor customer service the manager then told me " I should look in a mirror".

The manager continued to argue with me as I walked out the door. Not a single apology or sorry for the fact they could not deliver a product as they said they would, not a single apology or sorry for lack of communication and not a single apology or sorry for my inconvenience. Just arguments and trying to pass blame.

Terrible experience and terrible company. I would suggest others avoid this company. They are good at taking your money but the customer service ends there.

I was there to pick out appliances for my new home and not knowing much about appliances I went off the recommendations of our sales associate. Based on his opinion he said Samsung is the top of the line for washer/dryers, fridge and stove, so I purchased them. One and a half years in I had to service my Dryer and my stove. When the repair guy came in he said, Samsung is the worse and the only reason Trail recommends them is they get better margins on them. I was extremely disappointed how I was mislead to pad his paycheck. My recommendation is before you purchase appliances talk to a repair guy and not a sales associate from Trail.

Good deal on a dishwasher, oops on customer service. Shelly from customer service contacted me and initiated a conversation to make up for their oops. I was quite happy with the consideration she offered me. She indicated her administration would contact me to arrange the consideration by week's end. That didn't happen but I expect they will come through early next week as Shelly gave me her word.

I bought close to $25,000 worth of appliances here 3.5 years ago and have had to repair most of them myself. They warranty expired (how lucky for them) and everything is a charge to come out and take a look. The kitchenaid fridge I bought, within a year leaked through to my basement. Got that fixed and fast forward just under two years and the compressor is gone.

Had to replace the heating element on the dryer myself. Otherwise it was a $650 charge.

Had to replace some dishwasher parts as well.

Save the time and energy and go to ANY other appliance store. The service will be better and the quality of products far superior. Never been so disappointed in an retailer in my life. Go to anywhere but here. Trail should be ashamed for selling such Garbage at such inflated prices.

If I could rate it a 0 stars I would.

My experience in the cooking class was amazing, this class was led by the world class chef and renown culinary genius Lantz Vernon I highly recommend purchasing an oven to experience this wonderful class....... ovens are verry well priced and no issues with my oven.

Was sold a broken washing machine, and when called to tell them, was told not their problem call a service repair company. Be careful when going there, like to up sell you on expensive products that don't work and won't assist on any issues.

Update: After hearing about my issues, store manager stepped up and addressed my issues. I was very impressed with the amount of care to ensure I was happy, also made a follow up call to ensure I was satisfied. Would recommend this to store to others.

We were very happy with the customer service at the Edmonton South store. We dealt with Sunny and he was very patient and listened to our needs before he recommended a microwave and dishwasher to us, and helped us to compare products so we purchased the one that best met our needs. We like both appliances very much - the microwave is much more functional than our previous one ever was, and the Bosch dishwasher is so quiet that we can barely hear it when it runs. The installer was also very polite and responded with articulate answers to our questions about the appliances. Thank you Trail South for a great appliance shopping experience.
