The sides aren't so great, the atmosphere is very bland, even my beer was warm, but I swear they make the best darn steak in all of Alberta. It's actually the best steak I've eaten; Ever! I think it came down to the people who cooked it (I went three times) and the farm it came from. I travel more than the average person. Tumbleweeds Grill has better steak than Ruths Chris, it's better than the Keg (I've eaten at all western Keg locations), it's better than Outback, it's better than Sawmill, it's just amazing... to bad everything else in this place is so dull; on that note, I don't even recall there being an AC unit.

Hi my family and I went here on a Monday night for supper at 5:30 pm when asked if we had a reservation and I said no, the lady looked down her nose at me and walked away. She came back in a couple of minutes and then looked at the floor plan on her workstation and told us to follow her. She never smiled once. This should have been my first clue that it was not going to be a good experience. We placed our order stating with appetizers and then we all ordered steaks with all the trimming. When our food came to the table mine was cold, the meat was tough with sliver skin and grizzle that was very tough to cut and the vegetables looked like a garden they were so large on the plate. We did not receive the biscuits that the other tables received as they were waiting for their meals nor were we asked about fresh ground pepper. Some things can be over looked if your waitress is busy then again when they are not some things can’t. After spending $200.00 for dinner for 4 (food only no drinks) I would hope that you would at least enjoy something. In our case that was not it. We are more than happy with the other fine Dinning Restaurants in Medicine Hat and you can be sure that we will not be going back to this one. You can be sure that I will be letting everyone I know just how we were treated and that the food was as bad as the service.
