I once had an employee here try to cheat on her boyfriend with me. In a moment of knee-jerk retaliation when I figured out she had been using me, and in trying to expose this awful person, I tagged this business in a post venting about it.

Trying to cover this up, the employee, who's name starts with a K, began telling her co-workers than I was some sort of creepy stalker who couldn't take no for an answer? It was bizarre. I don't blame the co-workers for eating it up and trusting her word. I'd trust a 'friend' over a stranger on the internet. I think I even see them at shows from time to time. Probably nice people.

But the especially strange part was the crazy owner of this place sending me vague physical threats on Facebook after the fact. Grow up, woman! P.S....threats made in text are are still threats.

Posting this just in case anyone who still works there reads these reviews. "K" was repeatedly propositioning me for meet-ups, then standing me up. Anything you heard was her attempt to de-escalate from the path she was heading down and to play the victim.

Was just taking a glance around here on Google Maps when I saw this business pop up and all the memories came flooding back.

I was referred to Twisted Banana by a friend of mine. Today I had my first appointment there, with Rae. I was a little unsure about trying a new place, as being with my prior hairstylist for the last 10+ years. But I have moved and am too far away now. Rae was AWESOME! I will be seeing her again for sure! I have very long hair and wanted to layer it, a-lot, to take some weight out of it. She suggested a different way to lighten the weight of all my hair and I loved the result of her suggestion. She is friendly, knows her stuff and I will be booking with her again for sure!

Amazing. They are expensive but it was worth it. I got my hair dyed lilac and it was so beautiful. Ali did an amazing job. The atmosphere is really nice. It was very comfortable and everyone was nice.
