UCAMA is a registered charitable society devoted to the preservation of Ukrainian Canadian history and culture in Alberta.

UCAMA consists of a library (which includes genealogical resources), museum and archives, and has been a member of Alberta Museums Association for more than 40 years. UCAMA was a Recognized Museum from 2008 to 2013 and has regained Recognized Museum accreditation for the period 2017 to 2022.
Our museum is home to more than 4, 000 artifacts. Among these are household items and textiles used and made by Ukrainian pioneers, as well as the bible used by the first Ukrainian Greek Catholic Bishop in Canada. The collection also contains several unique Ukrainian folk instruments, hundreds of art pieces of various styles and media, and Ukrainian-Canadian military memorabilia and uniforms.
UCAMA’s library comprises more than 40 thousand volumes. This collection includes rare Canadian and Ukrainian publications printed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The UCAMA archives contain more than five thousand photographs, including hundreds of early 20th century Alberta pioneer photos, and approximately three hundred maps, some dating from early twentieth-century Ukraine.
