Valkyrie Training Stable offers a full service training program, specializing in starting young prospects for any discipline.

We provide the winning combination of
experience and safety by operating out of one of the area's premiere facilities. Conveniently located in Okotoks just minutes south of Calgary.

Wooden rail fencing and 24hr onsite care protect your investment and our heated indoor stable and arena, complete with jumps and excellent, dust free footing, create the perfect atmosphere for your prospect to learn and develop year round.

A two kilometre, undulating training track, spacious outdoor arena equipped with jumps, and large 150m x 300 m. manicured riding field are some of our outdoor attractions. All of these amenities can be used to bring out the full potential of your horse.

In addition to starting your young horse under saddle we also offer:

-Sales Prep and Representation

-Halter breaking / Ground Work

-OTTB Transition Training

-Refreshers /Restarting

-Spring Training (get your horse fit and ready for
summer riding)

-Learning Sessions with Your Horse available

Natasha Parent of Valkyrie Stables has been starting horses professionally in the equine industry here in Canada and the United States for over 15 years. She embarked on her career with horses as a young person in Louisiana, working her way up the proverbial ladder of the racing world from groom to exercise rider.
Her history includes starting horses for some of the top Thoroughbred training farms in North America.

Natasha's career has not been restricted to starting horses for racing. She has done basic ground work with and started horses who would eventually excel in Dressage, Hunter /Jumpers, Pleasure, Western Riding andTrail.

Natasha continues to improve her versatility in several ways. Participating in Cattle Drives, Gatherings, and Brandings. Riding as a Polo Groom and delving into many equine related activities.
