Vilia Tosio Prenatal And Breastfeeding Education Description

Breastfeeding is more important than we every realised before, it’s about survival as humans. We now know that it is not only important for preventing illness. Brain wiring talks place, affecting emotional and psychosocial development and maturity. Mothers have more sleep and better quality sleep when breastfeeding. Yet less than 5% babies receive normal food intended for human babies. Formula is mostly made from cow’s milk……after all cows eat grass…. . Rarely do mothers need to use any formula perhaps in an emergency. If more mothers breastfeed more mothers can donate milk. Just like blood is the gift of life so is human milk.

Compassion requires no titles, not that many generations ago we had our extended family living with us. Where we share knowledge, stories and receive help. Today I our modern world we don’t always have families close by. This is where friends are so important. This is why support groups are a safe place to meet and to share and have fun.
