I've been coming here for a while for my rental needs and photography purchases. Everyone on staff is nice and helpful even when they can get busy. Anytime I've had a small issue they are on top of things to make it right. Highly recommend Vistek for any rental needs in Edmonton. Good variety of equipment. Very nice and knowledgeable staff, Ben and Wes are great. Every question I have had has been answered well. Good delivery on products.

4 stars because prices sometimes seem off. On par with McBains but the internet (BH Photo, Amazon) can be cheaper which is frustrating when it comes from the the states and still get s to me cheaper.

That said, service is great.

The staff at Vistek Edmonton offer EXCELLENT service. They spend as much or as little time with you as you would like, and are very accommodating. The best part is when talking to the staff, I feel they want to share their product knowledge with me, unlike the other photography equipment store who treat you as if you are an unwelcome patron in their 'Ol Boys Photographer Club.

I rented from here a handful of times a year or two ago, and just returned more frequently in the past few months... The staff still remembered my name, its a little thing but my loyalty is to vistek. They know their stuff and are relational.

Nothing but fantastic service from both Redd (on the phone) and Ting (in store). Been thinking about getting a mirrorless camera for a while now and they were both very knowledgeable, not only on the Sony a6000 which I picked up but the other product lines as well. I was thinking about trading in a camera against it and after the trade-in appraisal was told that I would most likely be better off selling it privately which I'll do. It was even suggested I go around the corner to McBain's and see what they'd offer for the trade in but after a bad experience there I tend to steer clear.

I didn't find them to be pushy at all, and even had some decent recommendations. Both steered me away from the Sony external flashes for various reasons and recommended a better, more affordable solution should I go down that route.

Second time making a purchase here, and was very pleased both times.

Kyle was extremely helpful in helping me choose the right equipment for the company I work for. I received full demo of equipment for DSLR and entry level Pro Camcorder. Nice to have a well-stocked store, too, and not have to rely on pictures in a catalogue or brochure. Great experience.

Reasonable prices and staff truly know the products that they carry. Great for large, planned orders.
