Philosophy
Vonalee Gilroy is a board certified registered acupuncturist and a native of central Alberta. After living in Calgary for many years, and studying Chinese Medicine there, she now resides in Red Deer, AB with her husband and young daughter. With a background in interior design, her passions include cooking, food and all things creative.
With 7 years experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Vonalee works with her patients as partners, creating treatment plans uniquely tailored for each diagnosis. Listening is an important part of the process in helping her patients, as the mind, body and spirit are integrally connected.
Incorporating acupuncture, cupping, herbs, Zero Balancing bodywork and dietary plans, she treats many different syndromes, with a focus on Women’s Health. Disorders including:
