WECAN is please to announce that we will be reopening our University Depot and they will service the U of A community members. The University depot will be collecting orders for the September order.

Updated listing of all of our depot locations. Please note that we have two depot locations that serve our Muslim members and WECAN only provides the produce for these two locations.

Just a reminder Thursday is depot day, unless you are a member of a Friday depot. Remember to bring your reusable bags when picking up!

Members wishing to place an order for August, please note payment deadline is this Friday, August 10th.

Note to members who use the Belvedere depot, they will not be taking orders for August, but will be back in September. If you would like to place an order for just the produce you may use one of our other depots.

WECAN Food Basket would like to say a big thank you to The Grocery People Warehouse Management and Staff for donating the supplies for the BBQ held yesterday. We would also like to thank Dawn Arnold, Paige & Gary Nelson for working the BBQ.

WECAN is pleased to announce that we have another Halal depot opening up, the ABC Headstart is located at Millbourne Mall Room #335 Tower 2. WECAN does not provide the meat to our Halal depots, we only provide the Produce. The Halal meat comes from a Halal butcher.

All members wishing to purchase an order for August the payment deadline date is August 10th. If you purchase your order from the Belvedere depot they will not be placing an order this month.

Good morning members, yesterday our supplier informed us that they were unable to provide the long english cucumbers, so our trust program manager had to make a quick decision as to what she could provide in place, and is providing 5 bakers potatoes in place of the english cucumbers. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Hello Members for those of you whom put in an order for July your orders will be available for pick up tomorrow, Thursday, July 20th, unless you are a member of a Friday depot . Please bring your reusable bags to transport your produce as we join the world in reducing our plastic use.
