Windsor Plywood Edmonton Ne

I was just at the store. They wanted a fleet of personal information for my purchase of a $20 bottle of glue. When I asked why they needed my name and number to make the purchase, the guy behind the counter was very condescending. (Like, he very literally made a baby voice, while explaining to me that I might get home I decide I don't like my bottle of glue.) Unacceptable. Left without purchase.

I have been shopping at other Windsor plywood locations for years now and have always had great service but I went in to this location yesterday and waited 20 minutes for service of any kind when there was only one other customer and several employees running around. As a staff member was serving the other customer he would occasionally holler at me from across the floor to try promote whatever wood I happened to be standing in front of. All this without knowing why I was even there. When he was free I was greeted with long uncomfortable stares and short answers to my questions and a refusal to sell me any exotic wood due to some kind of insurance issue. A wood store that doesn't want to sell wood. A later phone call to the front desk left me equally bewildered to the nature of this policy and everyone was equally unapologetic. I spend thousands on every project and I will continue to do it at other locations. Convenience be damned.

I had the best experience purchasing my deck from Windsor Plywood. The service was excellent. The staff was so knowledgeable, Roberto walked me through what I needed and gave my husband and I tips on installing our deck. The selection for wood and composite decking is excellent!! I love supporting small business! It helps build our economy.

I was in last week to pick up some lumber. Excellent experience at the counter, solid is right! Had me laughing so hard... lot's of experience behind that counter for sure...

Then the yard... ok, so you can't pick through unopened lifts and grab what you want, I get that. The bearded fella that helped me was good with me picking through the open lift, and I even helped re-stack them.

When I redo our basement, I'll be sure to go back and find the funny guy at the counter, can't remember his name, but he was a nice guy.

Over the last few months I have been completing my basement reno.Last week I went into Windsor to get some of my finishing material and was lucky enough to run into,I guess the manager Dave, who was very helpful in getting me on the right track in terms of what was now popular in terms of flooring , door casing etc.. He was also able to get me some decent pricing. I have shopped a lot at Windsor over the past several months and have been very pleased with both the product and service. My son and I will be doing some renos in his home in the future and we will definitely be going back to this store. Thanks you guys
