Writer'S Ink - Red Deer And District

The Red Deer and Area Writing Group known as “Writers’ Ink” is a group of adults who meet weekly to share and critique one another’s writing.

Welcome to the Red Deer and Area Writers’ Group.


We hold weekly meetings (every Tuesday) in the old farmhouse at Sunnybrook Farm (4701 30 St).

Meetings start at 7: 00 p. m. and end around 9: 00 p. m.

We meet, share our writing, and offer constructive criticism to one another. We also do our utmost to improve in the craft of writing by organizing to Skype with professionals in the field of writing, by inviting guest speakers to our Spring Workshop and to the occasional meeting.

Our professional library is increasing as is our knowledge gained from members who are constantly seeking new challenges and sharing successes and failures with the group.
