Youth In Philanthropy St. Francis

YIP St. Francis is a team of Grade 9 students working to make a difference by giving small grants to local charities!

Here's what we do: Red Deer & District Community Foundation (RDDCF) gives us $500 a year to develop small grants for local charities. We research what charities are in our community, determine which area we would like to focus on, visit these establishments and donate money.

But that's not all. We also raise money to contribute to RDDCF's Youth in Philanthropy Endowment Fund so youth in future years can experience the responsibility of philanthropy.
