This little out of the way bakery/cafe is worth finding. Every time I visit I am so happy I did and so are my tastebuds and tummy. Extraordinary quality and friendly service.

User

The food is amazing whether you want a sandwich, a pastry or just looking for a yummy chai late. The staff is great and the lemon meringue tartlets are to die for.

User

The baguette sandwiches remind me of being in France. The pastries are awesome also. Love that it is in my neighbourhood!

User

So good! My favourite bakery in Calgary. Love the creme brûlée, the lemon tart, everything I've tried has been fantastic. It's a real hidden gem.

User

So far is the best desert in the city

I'm feeling a bit more French today after discovering Eclair de Lune this morning after my weekly treasure hunt at the Hillhurst-Sunnyside flea market. I'll admit I'm a bit embarrassed that it took me 9 years to discover it, but I'm so glad I did!

I'm so delighted to find an authentic French Patisserie close to my neighbourhood! Since this was my first visit, I picked up an assortment of deliciousness for a Sunday morning treat to have with some a Kona coffee that I'd brought back from a recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii.

1) Chef's croissant with ham, cheese and tomato was the flakiest lightest pastry I'd ever had, and the flavours were beautifully balanced. And it was still warm!!!

2) Sausage roll had a lovely pastry cross-cross design on the outside, and the inside was just as good!

3) and something I'd never seen before, a Pithivier with pears and chocolat, a two flavours I'd never have thought to combine...but they were great together!

And I still have a salmon & asparagus quiche, and ham and cheese croissant later for lunch!

Still so many more things to try on my next visit! This may become part of my weekly routine!

I tried their Cappucino and the chocolat cake. Both were amazing.

User

I have tried many of Chef's foods and they have all been excellent. I especially love his almond croissant. They also have many vegetarian foods. Keep up the good work Chef and staff.

User

I came by for the first time today.. I had the most amazing creme puff. I also took home sausage or montreal smokey meat rolls..

Amazing#!! Will come back for more

User

Have been to their stand in the market several times now everytime it exceeds my expectations amazing!

User

Great pastry shop! Owner is very generous and friendly. Pastries are top notch.

User

Great local spot. It's about a 2 mile walk from our house through the graveyard - but we make the trek all the time. If you're looking for sinful treats that are worth being bad, this is the place.

User

Excellent French bakeries. Croquant-Noisette is a must try.

User

An amazing discovery. All pastries are top notch and a cup of coffee is just a perfection. Will be back soon.

We have ordered cakes here on multiple occasions for our office birthdays. I have been quite disappointed in the past couple of weeks by the service that we have received from the company. I left 3 messages over the course of a week about putting in an order that went unanswered and then when I finally got a hold of someone they told me to hold and put the phone on the counter for almost 10 minutes. When they finally came back on the phone I had mentioned that we had left multiple messages and the girl on the other end seemed to know that we had left messages for them but didn't seem to really care. They then proceeded to discuss the fact that they "had no idea when they could have that cake made" with quite the attitude. They told me to call back in 3 days and that maybe they could have it for me the week after. I have again attempted to contact them on 2 occasions just this week and left a message with no response. When we have ordered from them in the past, we ordered a few days in advance and the cake was always ready to be delivered promptly. We have always paid for them immediately and this is the first time I've ever had these issues with the staff. The cake is delicious and is a favourite of many of our doctors in our office as well as the staff. My co-workers birthday was on June 26 and she wanted this cake but we were unable to get it for her due to the fact that no one will call us back! This has been extremely frustrating. I am not normally someone to complain or say bad things. Normally, I will give multiple chances before it really starts to get to me but this is just poor business etiquette and we will not be ordering cakes here again. Sorry, but we can't be waiting weeks for a returned call and then missing birthdays because of it.

Accidentally hit the stars; can't un-select on mobile so I'm going with 3 stars. I haven't been here
