100 Classroom Project

About 100 Classroom Project

The 100 Classroom Project is a student founded initiative to build 100 Classrooms in Afghanistan with A Better World

100 Classroom Project Description

Although A Better World has been working in Afghanistan since 2003, the 100 Classroom Project was founded in 2009 by the then university student, Azalea Lehndorff, who is committed to seeing this project to successful completion.

After learning about the situation of Afghan girls, Azalea was inspired to make a difference for them. She gathered a group of students from Canadian University College and formed Freedom run 5000. They set a goal to build 100 Classrooms in Afghanistan to focus on bringing hope through education.
