119 /122 Street is a major arterial road in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It undergoes a number of name changes through its length. Overview127 Street SW127 Street used to be rural grid road Range Road 250 south of Edmonton. When the city was numbering its streets, it was found that this road laid south of Quadrant (1) Avenue, and so the city adopted a quadrant system, naming it 127 Street SW. It is now under reconstruction as neighbourhoods approach it. The University of Alberta farm, to the west, is the expected location of the LRT south extension towards the Edmonton International Airport. The north extent currently ends at Anthony Henday Drive with a mandatory eastbound enter and exit. 119 Street119 Street currently begins at Anthony Henday Drive with a mandatory westbound enter and exit. It then continues 1. 7km to Blackmud Creek where it currently ends, plans are in the works for a bridge to cross and meet up with 119 Street again at 23 Avenue. After passing Derrick Golf and Winter Club, 119 Street meets Whitemud Drive and changes name to 122 Street.
