1410 World Bier Haus Restaurant & Lounge

Always good food, service and consistency. Upscale place but still casual. Nice menu for both food and beer

Tons of German bier to choose from. And the traffic on 17th Avenue added to the ambience inside, especially when what seemed like an endless lineup of Harley Davidson's revved up at the 14th St. Intersection.

I've been to 1410 several times and each time less and less impressed. I went recently on a Saturday... I chose to sit on the roof top, to my surprise it wasn't packed like normal. A waitress did come by and without a word dropped off a menu. A different waitress came by and dropped a water off, also without a word. I was waiting for a friend who came and joined me roughly 5-7 minutes after I arrived. I still was not asked what I would like to drink or if I was ordering. It was not until about closing in on 10 minutes after my friend joined that we finally were asked what we would like to drink. There was no check in with us after that... she saw that we had put out bottle of wine upside down in the chiller so she came by. We asked for the bill. Bill came and it was incorrect. The $45 bottle of wine was showing $50 on the bill. I had asked for this to be corrected. She walked away with an extremely unimpressed look. She came back saying "There is nothing I can do about the computer but I did the math on my own." No sincere apology. I left feeling as if she was annoyed that I had caught the mistake. Needless to say definitely not on the top of my list. I'd rather go to Morgans next door. :P

The worst service. There was no service. Went in with a group of 7, bar staff glared over at entrance and did nothing. Bunch of people just standing around doing nothing at the bar. Sat down for a few minutes without being acknowledged. Went and asked the bar tender "do you work here?". He says "yes, do you want me to send over a waiter?". That is literally your job bro, obviously we do. We just left. There are many restaurants I would spend your money somewhere else that deserves it.

Love love love the wings here! Just be sure to ask for them a bit more crispy. Lots of TV's - fun for game nights. Only thing missing to make it to all 5 stars is the staff could be a little more tentative from the get-go but overall quite friendly :)

Pretty good place. Good beer selection as you'd hope. I got misled on the happy hour specials by service staff. Not a big deal for me but double-check the specials before you order.

The food was good but I could have done without watching the manager berating our poor waitress for simply doubling checking the contents of the kale salad. Seriously what kind of management is that? I can spend my money elsewhere without the drama.

Terrible service, place is unprofessionally ran. waiting list is a joke. couples came after us got seated before us, they forgot to bring us menu. watched the entire first round of a game with not even water served

The day I came here I had the best service I have had in years. She brought every single wine for me to sample before I bought a bottle ... And it was half priced wine night.

She poured the wine and kept the white chilled. Always filled my water. Food was fresh but not outstanding. The service made this experience.
