my boyfriend and I are return customers at the WEM location -- not once have we had a complaint about the food, and only once the service was sub par (which we've spoken to management about and was resolved). even as a vegetarian I find then have countless options for me, will modify items to be meatless, and the build your own burger option is always a good bet for everyone. we look forward to our next visit!

Waitress was super kind and we won tix to the game on Friday! Fast friendly service and freebies how can anyone complain

The server asked the chef if a peanut butter sandwich could be made for my little picky eater. It came out with a happy face!

Literally worth the trek from Calgary just for the burgers. My fiancee is still talking about his food two days later. Great service every time. We can't wait for an excuse to go back!!!

First time to 1stRND Saturday night. Very impressed. We were seated within 5 mins (The Oilers were about to play Calgary). Our waitress was excellent (wish i could remember her name). Our drinks and food came out quickly. Our meals were hot and delicious. The S&P wings were amazing. The manager came over and had a lively conversation with my husband and I. Really enjoyed him. Great night out for us PLUS the Oilers won. We will definitely be going back.

This place is amzing. Great atmosphere with great food. I had the cheeseburger and it was so good. Unfortunately the gravy was cold and had a skin on the surface. Service was slow out of the gate but picked up and Randy looked after us very well.

Our waitress was very nice, friendly and came by just enough. My chicken burger was on the dry side. I won't be ordering another one anytime soon. The wings should also come with fries. The beer was good.

I got the fish taco special it was a great portion and pretty tasty and my pickled Caesar was really good too!

We really enjoy 1st round always good food and service. We were just here for dinner/Oiler game. I ordered wings and had a few left that I had boxed up. The next day when I went to open my box of wings I opened the box to see my bones from the wings I had eaten on top of the wings I had left over. Not impressed it was gross and I’m quite sure your kitchen has utensils that very easily could have been used to place the leftover wings in the box instead of just dumping everything into the box.

Had the 1st rnd mojito, it was good, but I had some really gross colored mint leaves that the waitress told me where supposed to be different colors. I think not, it didn't make my drink taste different so I took out the nasty mint leaves and didn't complain about the drink anymore. Had the byob which was good and Cesar salad which I couldn't eat because the dressing was so overpowering. The meal was ok, but not so incredible that I'm dying to go back.

We have been here many times at my daughter's request we went yesterday for burgers as we were in the mall.we ordered the deep fried pickles for an appetizer and was really dissatisfied and basically deep fried batter with a paper thin pickle inside.our burgers came and they tasted weird I only eat about half of mine.my daughter and I could not figure out what was wrong but something made them taste off. A manager came by and honestly as nice enough but only said well have a good day. Last night we were both I'll and I think the meat or the sauce was going bad. We won't return which is sad as always enjoyed it here

Would not recommend!

Yesterday we tried to have lunch at the "1st Rnd" restaurant in the west mall, but the waitress wanted to accommodate us at a hidden table without option to watch the Oilers game. I asked to switch to a table where we could watch, and she refused us saying that only groups with 6 people could, but the restaurant was super empty ... there were me and my husband.

Anyway, we left and surely would never go back.

Terrible service !!!

Went here for the first time tonight to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary.. took a while to get our drinks, waitress did not ask for our meal orders yet passed by us 3-4 times checking in and getting refills for other tables. Couldn’t even get her attention when flagging her down meanwhile she was inches from our table every time she walked by. Made it very clear we were ready to order with our menus folded up sitting on the edge of the table, making comments about how great it would be if the waitress would take our order already when she would be at the table directly beside us, and tried flagging her down a few times.. as well as went to order food when she brought our drinks but just walked away..... ended up walking out shortly after drinks came without getting our orders taken, leaving our drinks untouched and our bodies hungry... guess a cheap food court anniversary dinner is as good as ever tonight.. first and last time stepping foot here..

This was our first time here. Service was good up until meal came. We didn't get checked on afterwards. I had to flag down our waitresses to ask for a refill, which we never did get. Then had to flag the down to get the bill. Chances are we won't be back. And no, the waitresses were not busy.
