🥑🌮🍹👌🏼💖⭐️ One of my all time fave venues in the city! Amazing cocktails, food, atmosphere, staff and owership. Anejo is my staple place to bring people to who've never been to Calgary.

you won't find a single refried bean in this Mexican restaurant and that's a good thing!! The atmosphere and decor is fun and funky and the service is great. If you want a server who is knowledgeable, especially about tequila, and a lot of fun ask for Cory...he's awesome! The fresh guacamole made right at the table is fantastic. The menu has some good variety and the food was great. Definitely try the croquettes on the appy menu and the enchiladas are my favourite. For dessert the deconstructed cheese cake is a must try! If you plan on trying out Anejo for dinner make sure you get a reservation because this place is hopping every day!

Yum yum yum!! The "Speedy Gonzalez" was perfect.. two tacos, small side of guac, and a mini-margarita to wash it down. Unreal!! And if you have a chance to try the new spicy pineapple marg, do it!!

This is the second time I have been to anejo and it never disappoints. The food is just incredibly impeccable. The presentation is outstanding but the flavour is out of this world. Staff are all very friendly and the decor is amazing. You will not be disappointed when you check this place out! Probably one of the best restaurants in Calgary!

This is the most amazing place deffinally my favourite restaraunt not to mention all the staff are amazing the food is sooo good and obviously the best place to get tequila! Keep up the good work guys!

The food is really really good, service was excellent and I love the energy! It’s not a quiet place but somehow I didn’t have trouble hearing my husband! We will definitely be going back...and taking friends with us!!

Stopped in at Anejo for lunch and were pleasantly surprised that they had a brunch menu that started may long weekend. The bartender/server was awesome. Made a "drink" for my 7 year old and he felt pretty darn special. The french toast was amazing and we also had the huevos rancheros and the egg tacos. Very good meal. Love the staff there too!

Margaritas, Guacamole and amazing jerk chicken tacos with mango salsa. Foodgasm �

Great service and great food! Love all the different hot sauces to try. The variety of margaritas made for a fun night out!

Excellent Tequila selection and reasonable prices. My favorite place for happy hour, where you can try a new Tequila for 1/2 price. Always remember to start with the fresh guacamole and chips and move on to some great tacos. Service at Anejo is always excellent and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you're new to Tequila, ask your server what their favorite is and you'll be pleasantly surprised when following their recommendation. :)

Came for a belated birthday dinner and enjoyed the chili coconut​ margarita as always, tacos were great as well :-) but the consistent service is what makes it a great restaurant experience

Best tacos and guacamole I've ever had. Awesome service, the gentleman that served us was very thorough, kept our drinks full and checked in frequently to see how we were doing and if we needed anything else.

Although we were there to taste them on our extra anejo tequila. Which they “loved” and will be carrying. We did end up having lunch and it was amazing. They make fresh guacamole at your table. Service was very slow but atmosphere was amazing.

All staff are engaging, lively and knowledgable of the food & tequila options. Ambiance is second to none in the city. Overall a very fun place to meet up with friends during the day or night. Love the guacamole and coconut shrimp...and who could forget the chili coconut marg. So glad delivery is now an option with DoorDash :)

Ricardo was a fantastic server tonight, cocktails exceptional and food was also fantastic.



Will be back for sure!



Arrival service could use some work though, waited 10 minutes to be seated and the place wasn't busy

Everything perfect, except for the noise control. Not enough sound absorbing materials on the interior design. Almost impossible to talk.

Taco meats were dry - would like to have had them more on the moist side - 5.50 a piece should be a bit more size to them - atmosphere was fair for a Saturday afternoon. Bathroom had authentic Mexico smell lol.

Sorry but although this place is as hip as it could possibly be the value for the price is just plain awful. $19 for a short margarita? Please. $20 for three tiny dry calamari tacos? Ridiculous. However having said that, we are now in our 60's and have greater respect for money than we did in our younger years so there you have it! If you have lots of money and don't care about how you spend it then this place is for you!

I was with Michila McKerracher in that large group on Friday August 11 and second her praise for our waiter. I am the lightest drinker of all. I had discussed with the waiter whether to try a mango or coconut chili lime margarita and he suggested the latter so I ordered that. He showed up with a mango instead then remembered I had ordered the coconut chili lime and brought me that after I agreed to have both. Both tasted great but seemed to lack alcohol. I do appreciate not tasting booze in my drink but I like the buzz for $24. I was resigning myself to leave my vehicle as 2 - 3oz drinks should have been enough liquor to end my night, but similar to a lot of members in the group, not even a slight buzz. I mentioned to the waiter that I felt there wasn't any liquor in the drink and he shrugged it off. I guess I should have been more persistent.
