A Bear & Bison Canadian Country Inn

Food is absolutely fantastic! Staff are very well organized, extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms could use some modernizing, however everything was very clean and well kept. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful location! Loved the gourmet breakfasts, the cozy room and the hot tub. Feels like home, but better.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here at the end of Sept - it was very enjoyable! The upstairs room was very nice, and the Lonnie's breakfasts were excellent! We also appreciated the tips and maps to see sights around the area while avoiding the throngs of tourists. A great stay!

We had our wedding here week or so ago. It was absolutely perfect. Everything about it. We had met with the Chef/Owner Lonny and the events co-ordinator Leah two years prior to first discuss our special day. After first meeting them and touring the inn there was no contest. This was to be our venue.

We rented the Inn for two nights and everything went exactly how it should've been. The rain even held off till after the ceremony (something they obviously can't control). But everything they could control was excellent.

The first night we had our families and friends arrive checking in was easy. We selected the BBQ casual dinner for the first night and it was all really delicious and ran very smoothly. The chef running the BBQ was personable and all the guests commented on the great service. Mark was also running between the bar and everyone outside making sure that no one went thirsty. Mark really went the extra mile to make sure everyone was happy and you could tell he truly was invested in making it a special time.

The next morning we had the three course breakfast. Again. It was amazing. Everyone was full until lunch which was  a picnic delivered to the guests doors. Again fantastic. I wanted to try out some of the food choices before the wedding, but I see why there's no need to. Everything that was served was of the highest quality. All reviews talk about how good the food is. Trust them.

The ceremony went off without a hitch. Leah was kind enough to fix my tie and she made sure it ran the way we visioned it would.

The reception was great, food was as amazing as it was throughout the entire two days. We couldn't recommend the Inn enough for your wedding. All our guests had nothing but positive things to say about their stay and their experience. Customer service was impeccable. Can't stress how hard their staff work and how good they are at what they do.

We went for a friend's wedding and the venue was beautiful and the staff were super friendly. My partner and I are vegan and the food provided was fantastic and always similar to what others were eating so we never felt left out or different. Everyone I talked to really loved their stay

We went to the Bear and Bison for my friends wedding and I could not be more impressed. The inn itself is gorgeous the rooms are eclectic and the staff treated us amazingly well. Even with all those high qualities the food stood out as absolutely spectacular. Prime rib was huge perfectly cooked and delicious. Breakfasts were inventive healthy and tasty. I would highly recommend this venue.

Hands down one of the best Inn's in the Canadian Rockies. Love their gardens, their rooms are delightful and the staff is super helpful. Certainly worth staying here❤️

I love this place, almost everything is made of well crafted wood. The staff are amazing and he beds are great. I love the atmosphere here.

Great place to stay. Wonderful views. Big comfy rooms. Delicious Gourmet breakfast, unique made to order. Not your usual hotel breakfast at all. Good parking great staff to top it all off. The common room is very comfortable and inviting.

Cosy environment, was there for a wedding. Beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. Hot tub worked. Decent location. Food was average. Rustic style rooms, catered to couples not so much brothers for a wedding (bathtub out in the open room)

We recently booked the entire facility for a wedding we were having near by. The service and food was absolutely fantastic. We were made to feel at home and even though the wedding was busy we felt relaxed. I would not hesitate recommending The Bear & Bison and we will be staying there again for sure.

Visited for a wedding ceremony for the second time in as many years. Both times have been filled with excellent food and service. Highly recommended!

We spent several hours there attending a wedding. The staff were very professional and friendly. The food was excellent and plentiful. The view from the deck is breathtaking, especially if you don't get out to the mountains often. The décor and furnishings are comfortable and make you feel at home. Well done!
