In 1983 Allan Keith Brown started AK Brown, an air conditioning and heating company with a focus on customer service and quality.

For thirty-four years, AK Brown has provided quality refrigeration, air-conditioning, heating and plumbing services to commercial customers in the Calgary area. Due to an impeccable work ethic and a highly skilled team, our company has earned a flawless reputation. We pride ourselves in our customer relationships, having some for 30 years.

AK Brown has an extremely competent workforce. All journeyman gasfitters, plumbers, sheet metal technicians, air conditioning technicians and electricians possess an interprovincial red seal in their specific trade. Our employees are also committed to providing a safe working environment. All employees receive comprehensive safety training and AK Brown, holds a current Certificate of Recognition (COR).

AK Brown takes an active role in waste management. We reduce our industrial waste by educating employees on both, waste and energy management. We have a dedicated recycling facility at our Bonnybrook shop location. All construction and office waste is recycled. Our systems, such as plasma cutter, are also able to calculate for efficiencies utilizing every available material.

We install and service equipment including, but not limited to, systems related to refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, heating, sheet metal /ventilation, and specialty one-of-a-kind welding projects for typical, (e. g. floor grates, sump covers) or uncommon requests or repairs, (e. g. specialty safety guards, ladders, railings etc. )
