About Aball Software Inc.

ABall Software was incorporated in 1983 to pursue the development of DOS-based library systems for schools and small libraries. It successfully developed the M10 System for UTLAS (1984) and the Ocelot Library System (1985-88), which was later re-developed as the Columbia Library System. the Columbia Library System was marketed by McGraw Hill School Systems through 1997. In 1995 ABall developed YPI: Training Planner and YPI: Electronic Diary, software designed to help individual athletes and coaches plan and monitor year-round training programs. We received technical advice and encouragement from Biathlon BC, Biathlon Canada and the BC Sports and Recreation Branch in developing this product. In 2002, Aball broadened its product line with the publication of the Shooting Cookbook And Games, a training manual for target shooters, together with software games designed to train shooting reflexes. Our expertise is in development of DOS /Windows software for information retrieval and manipulation, with an emphasis on personal use systems.
