About Aboriginal Resource Center - Arc

To act as an education resource /support Centre for students, parents, teachers and schools involving First Nations, Metis and Inuit (FNMI) students.

Aboriginal Resource Center - Arc Description

The ARC is located behind Ecole Rocky Elementary in a newly renovated portable classroom building.
It serves as a culture-based approach to support First Nations students' efforts to complete their programs and develop a deeper appreciation of their heritage. The Centre is also open to community members who are looking to learn more about the aboriginal culture.

For students, the Centre offers a place to learn about their traditional aboriginal culture, consult with elders and access other resources. Students are offered courses such as Aboriginal Studies, as well as working toward class credits in areas of art and music.
