I was referred to About Painting and hired them to paint my apartment condo including cabinets which they took off site (they did the removal and the reset). They did a fantastic job, and made the entire process easy for me right from estimate through to inspection. Although, my job was probably one of their smaller jobs, they treated me as though it was their biggest. I don’t have a single complaint.

The team at About Painting was an absolute pleasure to work with. From quote to inspection, the whole process was painless and worry free. Richard was a pleasure to discuss with during the consultation and quote. About Painting also provides an Interior decorator to help with colour choice and items to paint or leave as is. Our theee storey, 2052 square foot home was completed in ONLY two days. Rory cared about our schedule enough to shuffle some things without delaying other projects in order to fit our schedule. No upfront payment is required by About Painting which expresses their own confidence in their work. An inspector comes through to review the work with you and once the customer is satisfied, payment is then made. This is a very consumer friendly way of doing business.

I’d also like to add that the inspector even touched up walls that we had made marks in while we were moving furniture back into place. It may not sound like much, but it meant a lot to us!!

We recently had About Painting repaint the interior of our house. It's the 3rd or 4th time we've used them. Our first experience was several years ago, when they came in after we'd fired another painter who was not only very late in completing the job, but had done such a bad job, that the About crew had to sand it down and start over. Since then, we've had them come in to do painting jobs both large and small. I find they are always price competitive; the crews are polite, show up on time, and clean up well when they are done; and they always come back to do any touch ups to my satisfaction - and I'm VERY picky. I'd highly recommend them.

We discovered About Painting on the Internet and contacted them. They came to our home and gave us a good proposal to paint a new fence. They gave us excellent advice and recommendation on a product that would work for us with a very good warranty. To complicate the project we needed a custom colour to match our home and they were happy to accommodate this. Their pricing is very fair...they did excellent work...on time and under budget. I come from a design background and am familiar with all of the issues around trying to build and get the work done. They did what they say they would. How awesome is that? Due to the size of the job I elected to contract a team to paint the entire house. Got a referral from a co-worker as well as homestars website. The team lived up to the reputation by completing the work on time and for the price quoted. 4 of 5 star rating due to a couple factors. 1) The crew got a putty compound on our brand new white carpet which caused us temporary distress/panic in the project but the team owned it and got it fully cleaned up in the end. 2) A slightly hidden piece of trim (and there was a lot of trim to cover in the house) was missed but their follow up quality inspector and touch up expert took care of it without issue. In the end, rather minor as there was no long term impacts and I would certainly use them on my next project as I appreciated the responsiveness, ownership and willingness to ensure it was all right in the end.

Friendly, professional, impeccable work. I have used them multiple times and would highly recommend them to anyone. I will continue to use them in the future
